Burger King Serving Whoppers With a Side of ... Bitcoin?

Forget the cheap toys. Burger King is handing out free money with its meals, but you'll have to be a little tech savvy in order to use it.

The fast food giant is partnering with Robinhood, a cryptocurrency investment platform and app, to give away Dogecoin, Bitcoin, and Ethereum. They're all types of digital currency that can be used to buy things online, but their value is highly volatile. So while you may be one of the lucky 20 winners to score one whole Bitcoin — worth about $61,000 at the time of publishing — it could be worth much less (or more, if you're an optimist) when you use it.

All you have to do to get your share of the crypto is become a member of BK's Royal Perks loyalty program and make a purchase of at least $5 in the Burger King app from now through Nov. 21, or until the free crypto runs out. You'll receive a code to redeem your cryptocurrency through a Robinhood account.
