The official first day of summer offers up at least 22 opportunities to appreciate the season by our count, and many more follow with the pleasant weather of July and August. But while stopping by must-see attractions, iconic movie locations, or the best places for a selfie in every state, stay safe in the water, on the road, and in the air (including from bad customer service). It's also time to eat and drink light, with salads, rosé wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, and patriotically, maybe with our directions for red, white, and blue cupcakes.
