Thankfully, this AskReddit thread inspired list has people sharing their most cherished and entirely regret-free splurges. 

Obviously, homes are an increasingly tough investment for many folks to make these financially-pressing times, but if you can swing it, a home can bring an immense sense of peace that you might otherwise have a much more difficult time finding. 

While the price tags on the higher-end clothing can come across as financially formidable at first glance, some of these pricier clothing items can absolutely pay for themselves in the long run. By "paying for themselves" we literally mean that they won't fall apart a few weeks after you purchase them.

Sure, dogs can be financially taxing companions, but its that very companionship that can quite literally lift the most tormented and overall troubled folks from out of the roughest patches. There's something truly invaluable about the nonjudgmental gaze of a loyal dog that's just happy to sit/nap beside you. 

Sleep. It's an unavoidable entirely necessary element of this here existence thing. We've simply got to do it. Not only do we have to sleep, but we are destined to spend a lot of time doing it.

A very nice pair of shoes is no doubt in a similar lane to purchasing some pricier clothing. With a nice pair of shoes, not only will you likely be in an entirely different league in terms of general comfort level, but the shoes themselves will likely last far longer.
