Target marked down this TCL 65-inch 4K Android smart TV to $230 from $400. It was an even better deal than last year, when the store sold a 55-inch TCL with a 4K display for $280 during Black Friday. Not surprisingly, this year's discounted model sold out quickly.

Released just shortly before the Black Friday madness began, Sony's latest iteration of its popular gaming console has been nearly impossible to find anywhere. Walmart quickly sold out of the $500 PlayStation 5.
Whether they're plastic or glass, food storage containers are a hot item throughout the holiday season. During Black Friday, consumers make a beeline for name brands like Pyrex. This glass mixing bowl and food storage set was marked down to $18 from $54.

KitchenAid stand mixers are a favorite of bakers everywhere, and Target's deal on a KitchenAid 5-quart mixer matched Best Buy's as the steal of the season. The Best Buy one was a Thanksgiving-only deal — and also sold out.
Cheap cookware sets are always in style during the holidays. At Macy's, a 14-piece Rachael Ray cookware set on sale for $80 sold quickly, no doubt because it was more than 70% off.

Star Wars The Child Animatronic Edition has been the hot item since Amazon Prime Day kicked off an early holiday shopping season in October. Yoda knows how to make 25 sounds and gestures, plus he can wiggle his ears, move his arms and head, and open and close his eyes. On Amazon, some third-party sellers are asking more than double or triple the $59 retail price.

Dyson is another perpetually hot brand. Not only is this all-in-one heater, fan, and air purifier (marked down to $375) sold out at Target, a similar model on sale for the same price at Costco is also sold out.
