It’s that glorious time of year when baseball and football seasons overlap, so it’s peak eating-crazy-stadium-food time. Both MLB and NFL stadiums have knocked it out of the park this year, with more carnival-like food than ever. Here are some of the wackiest and most unusual stadium foods you can get at pro football and baseball stadiums across the country.
Truist Park | Atlanta Braves
This monster sandwich is fair food at its finest — and fanciest. It’s a full seafood dinner with two lobster tails, three fried oysters, sweet potato fries, candied bacon, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and a spicy peach remoulade in a split-top bun.
Kauffman Stadium | Kansas City Royals
This is one monster taco. It’s constructed of a hot dog wrapped in a cheeseburger quesadilla and topped with barbecued brisket, fries, lettuce, onion, and spicy Cracker Jack. How do you even attack that?
Arrowhead Stadium | Kansas City Chiefs
Named after the play that won the Chiefs the Super Bowl last season, this foot-long corn dog contains a bacon-wrapped brisket sausage and sweet and spicy cream cheese. It gets a cloud of spicy cotton candy on top.
Coors Field | Colorado Rockies
This may look like a plate of spaghetti, but it’s actually noodle-shaped vanilla ice cream strands. The meatballs are actually donut holes, and the tomato sauce is actually strawberry sauce. Sounds pretty tasty!
Lumen Field | Seattle Seahawks
Forget foot-long hotdogs and opt for 12 inches of nachos instead when you cheer on the Seahawks. This box of pulled pork and queso blanco nachos is a full foot of crunchy cheesiness.
State Farm Stadium | Arizona Cardinals
Head to the club level at a Cardinals game for this sweet monstrosity no one asked for. Cotton candy ice cream is mixed with all kinds of sugary cereal and candy, then wrapped in a cotton candy cocoon. Bizarre.
Coors Field | Colorado Rockies
Ever wish you could feel like Fred Flintstone while watching baseball? Now you can when you gnaw on this giant "dino rib." It's a 20-ounce beef rib still on the bone, so you can swing it around for every homer, or eat it a little more gracefully with the paratha bread it comes with. There's also an herb salad on the side, presumably to counter all that beefiness.
Lucas Oil Stadium | Indianapolis Colts
Oh, another foot long corndog? Well, this one’s coated in honey and then rolled in crushed blue Taki crumbs. Sure, it matches the team’s colors, but it sounds terrible.
Soldier Field | Chicago Bears
This creation is named after the team’s new wide receiver, and it should be received pretty well by Chicagoans. It’s got a jalapeño cheddar hot dog topped with Italian beef, hot giardiniera, spicy secret sauce, and cheese crisp crumbles.
Citi Field | New York Mets
The iconic almond-flavored East Coast rainbow cookie gets the deep fry treatment at Citi Field. Along with raspberry jam and chocolate, the cookie is wrapped in a wonton skin and deep fried to perfection.
AT&T Stadium | Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys took “pizza burger” to its literal conclusion and slapped a burger patty on two pepperoni pizza “buns”. Did we mention it’s a one-pound beef patty? Plus there’s marinara sauce, cheese, lettuce, and tomato in there. So this thing is huge.
Oriole Park at Camden Yards | Baltimore Orioles
This foot-long hotdog comes on a sturdy pretzel bun in order to hold all its messy toppings. Baltimore’s famous pit beef is mixed with queso fundido then ladled on, along with horseradish sauce, crispy onions, and pickled pico de gallo.
NRG Stadium | Houston Texans
Who wants a plain, boring giant turkey leg when you can get a stuffed one instead? At a Texans game, they come stuffed with Cajun dirty rice and topped with brown gravy. This sounds pretty messy.
Lucas Oil Stadium | Indianapolis Colts
At first glance, these sound terrible. But regular french fries are swapped out for sweet potato waffle fries, and all of a sudden it seems genius. They get drizzled with chocolate hazelnut spread, marshmallows, and graham cracker crumbs.
T-Mobile Park | Seattle Mariners
This seafood pizza comes on a thick sourdough crust topped with shredded Dungeness crab meat, melted butter, herbs like dill and thyme, parmesan, and a splash of lemon. Sure, it's weird, but is anyone else's mouth watering?
The Superdome | New Orleans Saints
Meat and potato lovers take note: The Saints now have a turducken-filled baked potato. There’s chopped turkey, duck, and chicken on top, along with lots of cheddar cheese, of course. If that’s not your style, there’s also a crawfish-loaded potato.
Citi Field | New York Mets
Live large with this show-stopping burger. The burger (made with fancy beef) features a creamy, Maine lobster seafood salad on top, and it's all coated in a cheesy lobster fondue. It's even on a fancy fennel brioche bun, because you wouldn't want lobster on a measly hamburger roll.
Petco Park | San Diego Padres
The birria craze is apparently still hot in San Diego. You can get it in deep-fried form — the best form for anything, obviously — as egg rolls filled with the shredded, seasoned beef. They come with a creamy dipping sauce and sliced Fresno chiles.
Kauffman Stadium | Kansas City Royals
The Royals have a new burger, complete with a bright blue bun to match the team's colors. It's got bacon, blue cheese, Buffalo-style aioli, lettuce, and tomato, so otherwise it's a pretty standard Buffalo/blue burger. No word on how the food coloring might resurface after the game.
Soldier Field | Chicago Bears
A bear paw-shaped donut is iced in chocolate and then topped with vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, and toffee pieces for a bakery take on a sundae. Plus there’s orange and blue candy pieces for that extra Bears touch.
Highmark Stadium | Buffalo Bills
Named after a Taylor Swift song, these loaded waffle fries come in a 2-foot-long container. One foot is topped with buffalo chicken and blue cheese, while the other has barbecued pulled pork, cole slaw, and sweet pickles.
Chase Field | Arizona Diamondbacks
This foot long dog is Sonoran style, which means it also has smoked bacon, ranch beans, mayo, mustard, and pico de gallo all piled onto a Nathan's brand hot dog. You might need to share this one.
Comerica Park | Detroit Tigers
Carb lovers will be thrilled with this slider-style sandwich. There's a potato pierogi on a slider bun with sauerkraut, mornay sauce (a fancy name for cheese sauce), and good old Velveeta. If the goal was to make pierogis more portable, the Tigers succeeded.
AT&T Stadium | Dallas Cowboys
If you prefer your stadium food in brunch form for those early games, grab this breakfast creation. It’s a waffle topped with berry syrup, whipped cream, and Oops! All Berries-style Captain Crunch so it cuts up the roof of your mouth just enough to annoy you.
PNC Park | Pittsburgh Pirates
The Pirates really leaned into hometown food favorites with this dog. It's a 12-inch hotdog (of course) topped with shredded beef pot roast, caramelized onions, pickle slices, and the most adorable mini pierogis.
American Family Field | Milwaukee Brewers
This doesn't look crazy at first glance, but then you notice it: a chicken finger nestled in there with the hot dog. There's ranch on the chicken finger, and a sweet barbecue-like sauce on the hot dog, plus cheese and tater tots for good measure. No telling whether this creation will leave your mouth confused or overjoyed.
Guaranteed Rate Field | Chicago White Sox
This is a chocolate shake topped with graham crackers, chocolate bars, and toasted marshmallows. It sounds really good — unless, of course, you started the game with a few beers first.
U.S. Bank Stadium | Minnesota Vikings
Local bakery T-Rex Cookie makes giant dinosaur-sized cookies, and you can get them at Vikings games. Some are 5 pounds each, but there’s also smaller sizes (but still the size of your face!) available so you don’t have to share with your 10 nearest seat mates.
M&T Bank Stadium | Baltimore Ravens
You won’t need to eat anything else the rest of the day if you get this massive burger. It’s got a beef patty, bacon, American cheese, grilled kielbasa sausage, Maryland crab dip, and onion rings on a pretzel bun. And it’s topped with two buffalo chicken wings for good measure.
Lambeau Field | Green Bay Packers
Leave it up to Wisconsin to put bratwurst into everything. These egg rolls are filled with crumbled brats, sauerkraut, cheese curds, onion, cream cheese, and green and gold (see what they did there?) peppers, plus sauerkraut aioli.
