Panera can caffeinate you for the better part of the summer — and best of all, it's totally free.

If you sign up for the restaurant's new Unlimited Sip Club beverage subscription before May 6, you'll get free drinks through July 4. That includes hot or iced coffee and hot tea, plus iced tea and lemonade, fountain soda, and new caffeinated lemonades with flavors like mango citrus yuzu and strawberry lemon mint. Previously, only coffee and hot tea were included in the subscription service.

You can get a freebie every two hours, and there are unlimited free refills if you eat in the restaurant, so that adds up to a whole lot of caffeine. After July 4, the subscription will cost $11 per month — $2 more than it did last year — but you can cancel it before you get charged if you won't get your money's worth. Put a reminder on your calendar and you can make the most of this free-drinks spree.

Other fast-food chains have also rolled out food subscriptions, including Taco Bell. Its Taco Lover's Pass was good for a taco a day, but it was recently pulled after being available for only a few months. Free caffeine seems to have broader appeal, though, so it's unlikely the Unlimited Sip Club is going anywhere soon.
