Only 1% of the shoes that are bought in the United States are made here, according to industry representatives, complicating shopping for customers who prefer to buy American. But never fear: We've done the research for you. Whether you want cute sandals, rugged boots, or something in between, here are many of the companies still creating some or all of their shoes in the United States.

Prices and availability were researched in May and are subject to change.
