Star-Powered Stuff

These days, it's not enough to be an actor, musician, or reality TV star — you've got to have your own brand to go with it. Many celebrities have banked on their star status to bring in big bucks through the sale of namesake beauty products, clothing, and even food and alcohol. Newest to the list: A Grammy-, Emmy- and Oscar-winner who has plans to sweeten up life in Los Angeles.

Cher: CHERlato

Here's the scoop: Pop icon Cher is looking to turn back time to the happy summer days when the ice cream truck delivered delicious summer treats. The 77-year-old entertainment legend took to Instagram to announce the launch of CHERlato: "Yep, This Is Real…. I’m Launching My Gelato…. Watch Out LA‼️ All Started 5 Years Ago And Now It’s Finally HAPPENING More to come..." Details of when exactly the new brand would hit the streets were not divulged.

Blake Shelton: When You Know

Whether you're a country music fan or you've watched "The Voice," you have probably noticed Blake Shelton's signature look: jeans, a flannel shirt, and a denim jacket. In fact, he's probably known as being the guy who wears (pretty much) the same thing every day just as much as he's known for his music. It only makes sense that the country crooner's new clothing line collaboration with online retailer Lands' End offers the same staples that fans would find in Shelton's own closet. Shelton's line, dubbed When You Know, doesn't merely offer flannels and denim for men — it also offers women's and children's apparel and footwear along with home goods like blankets and sheets.
