Burger King is known for a lot of things (usually commercials with horrifying mascots), but chicken generally isn’t one of them. It’s not what the place is king of, clearly.
Yet the chain has 11 distinct chicken options, and if you’re sick of fast-food burgers and you find yourself at the King, what chicken route should you take?
I tasted all the chicken options on Burger King's menu and ranked them, so wonder no more.

This is shockingly crisp, juicy, golden brown chicken. That’s a new experience for me at Burger King, which I’ve found to usually be in the lower tier of fast-food chains. Not sure if this is made differently than the Royal Crispy Chicken Sandwich, because the chicken is significantly tastier here. All you need is lettuce and tomatoes. It’s the best Burger King chicken item by a mile, worthy of mention in the Chicken Sandwich Wars.

Everybody's getting in on the snack wrap game right now, and Burger King now has four of 'em. This one is basically what you've got on the spicy sandwich, just wrapped in a tortilla. The chicken is simply better with the spicy sauce, and it looks to be seasoned differently as well. If you're not hungry enough for a sandwich, this one is a no-brainer.

Price: $1.69
For me, simplicity is always best when it comes to fast food. The Chicken Jr. is really just a tiny little chicken patty with some shredduce and mayo on a sesame seed bun. The chicken isn't great, but for $1.69 it's impossible to ignore as a solid snack option.

This sandwich is weirdly not bad, and it all starts with the potato bun. The Swiss cheese feels more like a Swiss cheese sauce, and blends together with the mayo in a strangely satisfying way, almost like Swiss mayo. Topped with lettuce, tomato, and crunchy bacon, I was actually pretty into this.

This is very Buffalo-forward in flavor, but not in heat. I guess this is to help differentiate it from the spicy wrap, but it sorta feels like this town ain't big enough for the both of 'em. I don't mind this Buffalo wrap, but the spicy wrap is miles better.

Price: $2.99 for an eight-piece
BK's nuggies have never been my favorites, so drenching them in Buffalo sauce helps quite a bit. If you're paying the same price, you might as well just get the wrap. At least you don't have to get the sauce on your fingers that way.

Basically, what Burger King is doing with their new chicken wraps is slicing a chicken patty in half and pairing them with lettuce, tomato, and whatever sauce you choose. In this case, it's honey mustard, and though Burger King's honey mustard isn't amazing, it's a lot better as a condiment than it is as a dip. This all works together pretty harmoniously.

If you still want a chicken wrap and hate spicy flavors, Buffalo sauce, and honey mustard, get this. This one just has mayo, and though it's pretty boring, it's still not the end of the world. I don't see myself ever getting this while the Chicken Jr. is still on the menu.

Chicken nuggets are generally a safe bet in the world of fast-food menu items, but these aren’t. They’re dry, bland, and the crispiness didn’t even survive the four-minute drive back to my house. Perhaps they were never crispy to begin with.

I really like the idea here, and the shape is miraculous for dipping sauces, but these are just too weird. Much like the nuggies, they’re dry and filled with something that tastes more like fiberglass insulation than chicken.

I wanted to love this so much. I love hoagies, and we’ve got ourselves a hoagie-fied version of a white meat chicken patty. It’s on a soft sesame seed bun, which is odd, but the biggest crime BK has committed is in the saltiness. It’s saltier than I can handle, even with the mayo, lettuce, and toasted sesame seed bun. It’s a very, very bad fast-food chicken sandwich and the scourge of Burger King’s menu.
