From everyday essentials like olive oil and Greek yogurt to indulgent treats like ice cream and bacon, Costco’s private-label brand rivals even the most premium competitors. And since many of these products are made by the same producers behind household names, they come at a fraction of the cost. 

Whether it’s their legendary $4.99 rotisserie chicken or organic hummus conveniently packaged for on-the-go snacking, Costco’s Kirkland Signature products consistently prove that great taste and exceptional quality don’t have to come with an inflated price tag.

Did you know that Costco is the largest buyer of olive oil in the United States? And thanks to that bulk buying power, its olive oil is often priced well below competitors', and they aren’t trading off in taste or quality either. This cold-pressed, certified organic bestseller is consistently rated for its ripe, fresh flavor and priced at roughly $0.40 per oz. That's a huge saving when other brands charge close to $2 per oz.

No Costco best list is complete without a mention of its juicy rotisserie chicken, which has saved many families’ weeknight meals. These 3-pound birds are beautifully seasoned and whether you choose to eat it as is, use it for a casserole, chicken salad, or otherwise, you won’t find better for the taste at just $4.99.

Whether you’re team French or team USA (we’re team French) both of Costco’s vodkas are excellent pours, and we’re not just saying this because it costs 50% less than other branded bottles. Super smooth and easy to drink with a silky finish, the French vodka is often compared to Grey Goose, so much so it was rumored to be produced by them (it's not). 

Equally popular, the American version is described as clean and neutral in taste with notes of citrus and rose, and hailed by Wirecutter as “unanimously our favorite.”

Kosher, organic, non-fat, and packed with 18g of protein per serving, this is another hot buy from Costco that Business Insider coined as “best bang for the buck” in a Greek yogurt face-off with others from Trader Joe’s, 365, and Wegman’s. Rumored to be made by Smithfield, whether you’re frying it for breakfast or layering it into a BLT, its crispiness and bold flavor rival other premium brands — at a fraction of the cost.

Rich, creamy, and not overly thick, this ice cream with an almost soft-serve texture gives other big name brands a run for their money; and it should, since Humboldt Creamery supposedly makes it. Made with real vanilla and ultra-high butterfat, it’s a dessert dream at a sweet price.
