Snack Attack

Aldi does a lot of things right from its take and bake pizzas to its frozen food section. But one of the grocer's biggest highlights as far as we're concerned is their snack selection. Still, there are plenty of duds to weed through, so we've rounded up our favorites below for your snack shopping ease.

1. Fit & Active Cheddar Cheese Rice Snacks

These taste like Cheetos. No joke. Except they are undoubtedly healthier and don't contain any artificial dyes, like all other Aldi-owned brands. The store also offers a caramel flavor if you're craving something sweeter.

2. Clancy's Pub Style Pretzels

Don't waste your money on Dot's (although they are delicious and we're not knocking them). Clancy's version is coated in sharp, savory seasoning that complements the saltiness of the pretzels in the most euphoric way. These are a staple, especially since they only cost $2.

3. Clancy's Peanut Butter Filled Pretzel Bites

Clancy's knows their way around pretzels, folks. These peanut butter-filled bad boys rival the beloved Trader Joe's version, and they are one of Aldi shoppers most raved-about snacks, albeit not one of their cheapest options.

4. Millville Chewy Dipped Peanut Butter Granola Bars

Good luck getting a box of these guys to last more than two days in your pantry. There's a chocolate chip variety too, but the peanut butter ones are our personal favorite. They give off a Reese's meets granola bar vibe and who could be mad at that?

5. Savoritz Turtles Baked Cheddar Snack Crackers

Goldfish don't come anywhere near these tasty little turtles. We said what we said. These are just cheesy enough, just salty enough, and adorably shaped to boot. The extra cheddar version is good too, but decidedly saltier.

6. Emporium Selection Habanero Jack Gourmet Snacking Cheese

Aldi offers an impressive selection of cheeses, including several that are designed specifically for snacking. These habanero jack cheese sticks are top tier. They are creamy, spicy, and sharp all at once. 10/10.

7. Savoritz White Cheddar Baked Cheese Crackers

Once again, another Aldi snack that emulates a more widely known option at other grocery stores. This time, it's white cheddar Cheez-Its that come to mind, and Savoritz these crackers are just as good as those are.

8. Simply Nature White Cheddar Puffs

The white cheddar puffs are sort of like Pirates Booty, but these are mostly popular for shoppers who have kids to stock snack cupboards for. They have good white cheddar flavor, they are cheap, and they seem to have a solid shelf life, too.

9. Benton's Caramel Coconut Fudge Cookies

The cookie section at Aldi is well varied with new options popping up all the time. The texture of these cookies is phenomenal and the flavor combination of caramel, coconut, and chocolate is a nod to the Samoa Girl Scout cookies.
