Want a Cheap Apple Watch? Now's the Time at Walmart

If you've had your eye on a shiny new Apple Watch, Walmart has a Black Friday deal you won't want to miss — and we expect it to go quickly.

The big-box behemoth is dropping the price of a 38mm Apple Watch Series 3 GPS from $199 to just $109, which is the lowest we've ever seen it go — a typical discount is only $30-$60. The sale officially starts at 7 p.m. Eastern, but if you happen to be a Walmart+ member, you can get a four-hour head start and shop as early as 3 p.m. (Walmart's in-store deals don't begin until 5 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 26.)

Keep in mind that this is a new Apple Watch, not a refurbished model. That said, the Series 3 is the oldest Apple Watch that's still being sold. The newest model, the Series 7, may see minor discounts, but expect to pay very near the full sticker price of $399 and up, depending on which version you want.

Anyone who wants a newer Apple Watch can still keep their eyes peeled for discounts on the Series 5, Series 6, or SE models. Here are a few that caught our eye, all of them live right now:

Apple Watch Series 5 for $220 from Best Buy (regularly $399)
Apple Watch Series 6 for $349 from Amazon (regularly $399)

The Series 3 still does everything most casual users want or need in an Apple Watch, with seamless smartphone notifications, exercise and sleep tracking, and more. The main differences? You're getting a smaller display and a slower processor.

If you're on the fence, don't sit there for long. As we said above, this deal probably won't last long.
