Soon you might be able to grab an egg McMuffin and satisfy your sweet tooth with a Krispy Kreme doughnut on a single McDonald's drive-thru stop.

The fast-food giant said it plans to sell those crave-worthy Krispy Kreme treats at about 160 locations starting March 21. The move comes after a successful test run at nine locations in the Louisville, Kentucky, area that started last fall.

Now, the test market is expanding to include many more locations in the Louisville area, plus restaurants in and near Lexington as well. Available are three of Krispy Kreme's most popular doughnuts: original glazed, chocolate iced with sprinkles, and chocolate iced cream filled.

Unlike the initial test phase, the doughnuts will be available online and for delivery, not just in the restaurant and drive-thru. They'll be available all day as well, so you can get your fill even at dinner.

If the test continues to go well, it's not a stretch to think the companies may roll out the partnership nationwide, giving fans of McDonald's crazy food hacks everywhere a chance to concoct their own Luther burgers.
