With price tags that rival homes in exclusive neighborhoods and interior furnishings and amenities to match, today's luxury recreational vehicles are sophisticated mini-mansions on wheels. Travelers with millions of dollars to spend on an RV can ensure they never have to rough it, even in the middle of nowhere. Case in point, this year's most expensive: a luxury RV with a rooftop deck and optional LaFerrari stored below — which brings the grand total to well over $5 million.

Price: $2.1 million
This RV, one of the Performance S line, has a 135-square-foot rooftop deck, which seats 6 to 8 people. That's not all that's on the roof: you'll also find a 2,000-W solar panel array, satellite dish, 4G antenna, and dual air conditioning system. Oh, and if you want to add the LaFerrari (which fits snugly in its own space in the RV) to the bill, it will cost you — the RV and the car together can be had for close to $6 million.

If the big rooftop deck and a parking spot for your car isn't enough, there are a few other perks in this pricey RV. The surround sound system is floor-wide so you can hear your tunes of choice anywhere in the vehicle, and there's a coffee-and-cocktails bar for entertaining (or just enjoying solo). The kitchen features an L-shaped counter with barstools as well as a kitchen area with a three-burner induction cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator with separate 12-bottle wine cooler.

This RV with a fishbowl-style cockpit comes from Austrian brand Marchi Mobile, which has made sure this ultra-extravagant RV has everything you want (and some things you never imagined possible) when you hit the road. The 45-foot-long, 8-foot-wide RV also an interior section that can be expanded to 16 feet wide. Fully expanded, the RV has about 732 square feet of indoor space.

As you might expect, the front of this RV has plenty of buttons to push — the instrument panel is comparable to what you might find on an airplane — and if you're worried about sunburn, the glass can be darkened using an adjustable sun-protection system. When you leave the cockpit, the walled-off deck area can be raised up out of the roof using an automatic lift system to create a lounge. It has a sky canopy, furniture, heated floors, and an audio system to become your own personal rooftop nightclub.

While you can go outdoors, you certainly don't need to when you take this RV on vacation. It has a fully stocked kitchen, an entertainment area with a 42-inch LED TV, and a master bedroom with a king-sized bed. You'll also find a wine cabinet for the bar, adjustable sofas, and a bathroom area with a glazed rainfall shower.

Marathon luxury motorhomes are created to be a five-star hotel on wheels. Each is unique and can be modified extensively, including with many amenities patented by the company. The entertainment highlights of a typical vehicle from the Marathon inventory — No. 1319 — include a 49-inch Samsung 4K LED TV in the bedroom (where there’s also an adjustable reclining bed) and another 49-inch LED television in the vehicle’s entertainment bay. There are two satellite dishes with three receivers and commercial grade Wi-Fi.

No expense is spared on the furnishings and decor on No. 1319. Among the notable highlights is a custom-built sleeper sofa; porcelain tile flooring with underfloor heating; Sub-Zero fridge; Fisher & Paykel microwave; GE convection oven; handmade glass sinks; a large shower, and a full bath.

Newell's motorhomes use custom-engineered bodies and chassis, meaning they’re not conversions, but built from the ground up to be a luxury motorhome. Newell's p50 — the name is a nod to the company's 50th anniversary — is a collaboration with longtime partner Porsche Design.

Some Newell p50s include two full bathrooms — rare in the RV world — and premium leather sofas, GE Profile convection ovens, Wolf two-burner induction cooktops, GE Monogram refrigerators and freezers, and a Fisher & Paykel dishwasher.

A vehicle that looks as though it could survive on the moon, or at least perhaps in the most remote corners of the planet, the EarthRoamer SX had four-wheel-drive and enough tech to make it a self-sufficient expedition RV.

EarthRoamers come with significant fuel, water, solar, and battery capacity. This tough vehicle can carry 115 gallons of diesel fuel and 250 gallons of fresh water, and comes with a massive rooftop solar array. There’s a hydraulic leveling system for setting down on rough terrain.

Anderson Mobile Estates caters to Hollywood royalty, and its recreational vehicles are designed to meet the over-the-top needs of a clientele that's included Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, Vin Diesel, Brad Pitt, Jim Carrey, Denzel Washington, and Harrison Ford.

Anderson Mobile Estates famously built a two-story trailer concept that later sold to Will Smith and offers an extensive selection of exotic woods, fine leather, audio and visual equipment, and more. If you have it in your oceanfront home, you can probably bring it with you on the road.

Anderson built the RV used by Jamie Foxx to film his "Off Script" interview videos, with a stylish bar, makeup vanity, and music table for spinning tunes. The Aspen design looks like a boutique hotel fit for a style maven, with rich wood cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, a Zebra rug (let's hope for the animal’s sake it's fake), and a walk-in closet with rows and rows of shoe shelves and plenty of seating to allow for sitting and admiring your designer clothing.

Newmar redesigned the interiors on its 2024 model of the luxe London Aire, from Italian leather sofas to its two televisions (one an 8K Samsung). There's plenty it got custom-designed, from the chairs around its dining table to the faucets in the kitchen.

There are five available floor plans for the latest Newmar London Aire. Each have large double pane windows that reduce outside noise while allowing better views; heated front seats; and a bedroom wardrobe with cedar paneling.

The Cornerstone is one of the bestselling models from Entegra, thanks to its opulence and careful craftsmanship, which includes quartz countertops, porcelain tile floors, and Italian leather furniture throughout.

The Entegra includes an Xite XSG3 radio system, 43-inch exterior Samsung Smart television, Sony HD Blu-Ray player, LED lit fireplace, and a Whirlpool stacked washer and dryer. The kitchen includes an induction cooktop, 24-inch stainless dishwasher by Fisher & Paykel, quartz countertops that include dimmable LED accent lighting, and a porcelain tile backsplash. There’s also a Blanco single bowl granite sink. All together, nicer than many people’s actual kitchens.

The living room in this luxury liner comes with a 50-inch Samsung 4K UHD Smart television and Bose Soundbar 700 system with wireless surround sound speakers. There’s also a Samsung 32-inch LED Slim Smart television in the vehicle’s front overhead. We haven’t gotten to the bedroom yet, where yes, there’s another television, as well as a Bose Solo 5 soundbar.

The Newmar Essex price tag is well more than the average American’s home for a vehicle that aims to be "a resort, wherever you are" and provide sophistication, style, and comfort.

The list of features is extensive. Maple hardwood cabinets are standard, along with pullout pantry shelves and leather sofa, driver, and passenger seats — some of which are both air-cooled and heated — and a cedar paneled bedroom wardrobe. Options include theater seating, a fireplace with a 50-inch 4K television that raises and lowers (in RV lingo, a "televator") and massage features for the driver and passenger seats.

The kitchen comes standard with a GE Profile Advantium microwave, Whirlpool stainless steel refrigerator, Whirlpool two-piece stacked washer and dryer, and an electric flush mounted induction cooktop.

An RV on steroids, the Ikon is claimed to be the most powerful luxury motor coach ever built by its maker, Renegade. It’s the maker’s flagship vehicle and features a 600 HP engine and 30,000 pounds of towing capacity.

Featuring hydraulic slide-outs and an 87-inch ceiling height, every Ikon interior —  four floor plans are offered — is expansive. The long list of lavish standard amenities includes quartz countertops, heated porcelain tile floors, and Villa Ultraleather furniture. There are also premium name-brand electronics, stainless-steel appliances, and a two-burner induction ceramic cooktop.

The largest model of Ikon puts a second private bathroom — with porcelain tile shower — inside the bedroom, which has a king-size bed and a 40-inch 4K LED television. The living room has its own 50-inch 4K television, and the interior can convert to a theater at a touch of a button, lowering shades, dimming lights, and raising the screen.

Price: About $1,500,000 and up
A German-engineered offering, the 35-foot Performance Perfection offers a variety of layouts, materials, design, and color combinations. It includes coach components from Volvo, but the chassis are built in-house by Volkner.

The Performance Perfection includes its own patented garage on the "ground floor" that has space for a Mini Cooper or Fiat 500. There’s also enough additional storage space to bring along two electric bicycles, a table and chairs, and barbecue equipment. Not fancy enough? The Performance Perfection S model, which starts at about $2.5 million — and for around $8 million can include a Bugatti Chiron sportscar, along with additional (loud) bells and whistles such as a Burmester custom sound system.

If the garage isn’t impressive enough, this RV includes a section that slides out with the push of a button to expand the vehicle interior by about 29 feet for more room in the living room, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. The living room can easily seat six people. The kitchen includes deluxe appliances, and the bedroom is the height of a full room at home and features a king-size bed that is fully accessible from three sides.

The jaw-dropping Newmar King Aire recreational vehicle was created to be a mobile palace, with amenities that might have you rethinking your life choices.

The King Aire has dual side awnings with LED lights, an outdoor entertainment center, a pull-out freezer, and a new camera monitoring system at the entry door. Inside this pricey vehicle, there’s an enormous living room ideal for those who like to entertain. Features include Samsung UHD 4K LED televisions, Sony Blu-ray player, a Bose Sound Touch bar, and Italian full grain leather furniture.

King Aire kitchens include hardwood cabinetry, stainless-steel Viking convection microwaves and refrigerators, and electric Wolf brand induction cooktops. Master suites, behind a sliding barn-style door, have king-size beds, and retractable 4K televisions. The rear bathroom has cathedral ceilings.

The sleek, German-built Morelo Empire Liner resembles a chic apartment on wheels, designed to offer passengers every comfort and look beautiful — and won a German Design Council award for it in 2018. Prices for some models are well over $500,000.
