Kraft is teaming up with fancy ice-cream company Van Leeuwen to produce Kraft Macaroni & Cheese Ice Cream. Its ingredients include the neon orange cheese powder, which gives it that same characteristic hue as the bowls of mac 'n' cheese you ate as a kid. It does not, thankfully, contain any actual noodles.
This is the second time Van Leeuwen is producing the ice cream. The first time, in 2021, it sold out online within an hour. Some people actually enjoyed it, saying the cheese powder produced a "buttery flavor that’s only slightly cheesy" and hit all the right nostalgic taste buds.

This time around, it's being sold at Walmart stores nationwide, so it's unlikely to sell out as quickly. It's only available for a limited time, so go grab a pint soon if it intrigues you — the release is slated for March 14, reports Chew Boom. Otherwise, you can always try some of Van Leeuwen's other head-scratching flavors, which will also be exclusive to Walmart:
- Pizza, a cream cheese and mozzarella ice cream with a tomato jam swirl and basil crust cookies
- Planet Earth, a blue spirulina — that's algae — almond ice cream with pieces of matcha green tea cake
- Hot Honey, a comparatively tame-seeming vanilla ice cream with honeycomb and swirls of spicy hot honey
