These Adorable Dogs Are Ready for Fall

There isn't a lot that can make this lingering pandemic better, but pets sure do help, and sharing photos of those pets is one of the next best things we can think of to alleviate the effects of those daily doses of doomscrolling. Here are dogs and cats who seem ready to get another season over and done with. Annie, a Chiweenie who lives in Tennessee with her parents, Cati and Patrick Basile, and human brother Anderson, soaks up some of that early fall sun.

Elizabeth Weir O'Connell's pups, Auggie and Gus, are all about the cozy, content, and couch-centric life of fall.

Blue doesn't care what season it is as long as she knows where the ball is at all times. Blue, a 5-year-old heeler and hound mix, lives with Cheapism editor Kris Scott in Colorado.

For Coco, cooler temperatures and longer nights mean more pajama time. Coco is a 7-year-old Maltese mix and belongs to Pat Shrader, assistant managing editor at Cheapism.

The crisp and cool days of fall give New Yorker Yorkiepoo Coco an excuse to break out some of her more enviable fashion ensembles. You can follow this pup on Instagram.

Flora lives in the Willamette Valley region of Oregon with her family, parents Taryn and Brian James and her human siblings, Owen, Hartlee, and Bergen. 

Gili, who belongs to Kimberly Lunday, is all about those leaf-peeping hikes.

Melissa Nicole's pup Gio clearly isn't one of those dogs that needs a sweater or fleece in the fall. He comes with his own. 

Tara Rooney's dog Hailey is picture-perfect among the mums and other autumn accouterments of his porch.

German Shepherd puppy Hazelnut, whose mom is Abby Ventzke, couldn't be more adorable against the fall-inspired color scheme of his fuzzy blankie.

Melissa Fox's pupper Indiana Bones doesn't seem quite sure that this leaf-to-green-grass quotient constitutes a changing of the seasons, but he seems content to relax and wait for more to happen.

Jensen, who lives with his mom Mariah Stover in Washington, D.C., has broken out the fall outerwear and employed it for a very picturesque autumn hike.

Miniature poodle Lochland, who was photographed on a walk in Brooklyn with mom Daniella Gregory, is primed for the first snowfall in a chic cover-up.

Winnie, who lives in Lincoln, Nebraska, with her mom, Tara Scott, is ready for cooler temps in her Pearl Jam hoodie. 

Moby, who belongs to Cheapism's editorial coordinator Jenn Magid, is feeling fashionable with his au naturel accessories.

Oreo Speedwagon lives with Cheapism editor Liane Starr and is pretty sure he already knows the answer to that question.

Peaches, a calico kitty who also lives with Cheapism's Starr in California, knows her natural coloring is already perfect for this time of year.

You can tell it's fall (and therefore late in the soccer season) because Prince's ball has seen better days. Prince lives with mom Rachel Pencu.

Rowan, another German Shepherd puppy who lives with Abby Ventzke, is ready to try all the fall flavors: apple crisp, pumpkin spice, etc.

Mariah Stover's Tenley is resplendent in his autumn-inspired bandana and also pretty comfortable posing in the pumpkin patch.

After a long life, Echo the Chilean Rose Hair Tarantula, who belonged to Cheapism managing editor Danny Jensen, recently passed away. R.I.P. Echo, we'll miss you.
