Crumbl Ditches Cookies for Thanksgiving — Here’s What’s on the Menu Instead

Crumbl is a dessert chain that seemingly sprung up out of nowhere fast. It’s known for huge, soft, and super sweet cookies, and you’re likely to see its trademark pink boxes at any gathering. But this year for Thanksgiving, Crumbl is putting cookies aside. In place of the usual lineup of seasonal cookie flavors, the chain is baking up mini pies instead.

From now through Friday, Nov. 30, you can get favorite holiday-inspired pies at every Crumbl. They come in two sizes, 4.25 inches and mini 2.6 inches, just like the cookies do. The price can vary by location, but at a location in the Midwest, the large pies are $5.48 each, while the minis are $3.15 (you’ll get a discount if you buy more). 

If you’re thinking that Crumbl pies might make fantastic individual desserts on your Thanksgiving table, here’s all six varieties you can choose from.

There’s always room for chocolate, even after a huge holiday meal, right? This chilled pie has a cookies and cream crust, chocolate mousse, whipped cream, and chocolate curls so it looks all fancy. 

Buttery crust with a cinnamon apple filling that’s topped with more cinnamon in streusel form. This is the only one of the pies that’s served warm, so if you’re hoping to gobble up a gooey pie yourself before Thanksgiving, this is the one to get. 

Of course they couldn’t sell holiday pies without having a pumpkin option, right? These have a buttery crust with classic pumpkin filling, and are decorated with whipped cream. They’re served chilled. (We wonder how it stacks up to the other store-bought pumpkin pies in our taste test!) 

If you prefer a non-traditional Thanksgiving meal, then this key lime pie might fit the bill for dessert nicely. It’s got a graham cracker crust, a creamy, tart filling made with lime zest, whipped cream, and a lime slice on top.  

Move over pumpkin, because pecan is the pie of choice on many Thanksgiving tables. Crumbl’s version is made with plenty of brown sugar and nuts. It’s served chilled, but we bet this one would benefit from a quick warm up before serving. 

Any kids at your Thanksgiving gathering are sure to love this one. It’s got a chocolate cookie crust, a chocolate sandwich cookie-studded cream filling, whipped cream, and cookie crumbles on top.  

We should have figured that Crumbl couldn’t go without selling at least one cookie, even during its pie week. So you can still buy classic chocolate chip cookies, made with both milk and semisweet chocolate with a sprinkle of salt.
