Even though your local Costco may have festive winter wonderland displays ready for the gifting holidays of Christmas and Hanukkah, there are also amazing food and beverage buys ahead of Thanksgiving. If you're cooking the entire meal yourself or just contributing classic side dishes to a group effort, the deals here can be your recipe for success on this year's turkey day. The holiday comes early this year (Nov. 22), so shake a leg.

The in-store prices listed here reflect our in-person audit done at Costco in Boise, Idaho, on Oct. 30.

Sold in generously sized packs, fresh asparagus is available year round. Costco sells it in 2.25 pound portions for $7.49. Available in all U.S. locations. Need a quick appetizer?
