Snacking is great for staying full between meals, but it’s tricky because we often grab calorie-dense stuff like chips or candy that’s loaded with saturated fat and sodium. The good news is there are tasty snacks you can nib on without adding too much to the calorie bank. Here are 18 under-100-calorie snacks that are actually delicious.

1. Cheez-Its (17 Crackers)

Yeah, yeah, we all know that Cheez-Its aren't exactly an exemplary nutritional snack, but at least they are very light on the calorie front and are made with real cheese. Around 17 crackers have 94 calories, just enough to satisfy the salty cravings without going overboard. Plus, you get a little calcium from the cheddar, which isn't the worst thing in the world.

Here is another snack that won't win health awards but is not the worst thing in the world. Mini pretzels are the snack that gets the job done, and at 80 calories for 15 pieces, you get plenty of crunch and salt without too much guilt.

Try a smoked salmon pinwheel for a tasty snack under 60 calories. Just spread a tablespoon of low-fat cream cheese on a slice of smoked salmon, roll it up, and you're good to go. It’s high in protein and full of heart-healthy omega-3s. If you want more, use a little less cream cheese, and you can make two pinwheels for under 100 calories.
