With blockbuster movies such as "Top Gun: Maverick" and "Thor: Love and Thunder" hitting the big screen, AMC Theatres is bringing back a pre-pandemic perk: $5 movies on Tuesdays all summer. The Discount Tuesdays program was halted when movie theaters sat empty during the height of the pandemic, but as moviegoers flock back to theaters, the chain is once again offering the deal, which runs through Oct. 25.

To get the bargain, moviegoers have to join the free AMC Stubs loyalty program. Besides discounted movies, members also get a free refill on a large popcorn and earn 20 points for every $1 spent. Members who reach 5,000 points get a $5 reward to spend on food and drinks.
