Aldi is looking for one "lucky couple" to walk down the aisle and say "I do" at one of its stores.

The supermarket chain has announced in a press release that for the first time ever, they will be funding one couple's dream wedding in an all-expenses-paid Aldi-themed ceremony at its model store and headquarters in Batavia, Illinois.

@aldiusa Can you feel the #ALDILove? You could win an ALDI dream wedding with your meet-cute love story at aldi.us/happilyeveraldi. Contest closes 8/17. Terms and conditions apply. "We're showing our #ALDILove in return by giving one crazy-in-love-with-ALDI couple an opportunity to celebrate the ultimate life milestone with us," Kate Kirkpatrick, director of communications at Aldi USA said.

The chosen couple can invite up to 50 guests to the event — which the retailer has said will be fully transformed into a wedding venue — featuring many unique touches. Among the perks will be a reception catered with Aldi food and drinks, a branded tiered wedding cake, a storefront photoshoot, and an Aldi employee who will officiate the wedding. And to make the special day even sweeter, Aldi will also be gifting the newlyweds with a year of free groceries, which will be provided in gift cards worth up to $5,000.

To sign up for the contest, engaged couples can visit the company's Happily Ever Aldi page and share with Aldi why they believe they're the perfect match for this event. Participating couples should submit a well-lit picture of themselves, their social media handles, and provide an entry (500 words maximum) sharing what makes their love story special, and why they'd love to get hitched at Aldi.

The winning couple will be notified at the end of August, and will have all their travel and accommodation costs paid for by Aldi. The deadline to apply is Aug. 17, and applicants should note that they must be willing to get married on Wednesday, Nov. 9.
