Why Are the Vornado Space Heaters Being Recalled?

Select models of Vornado space heaters are being recalled because of an issue with the power cord on the heater. The cord can "partially detach from the heater enclosure, which can lead to cord damage over time, posing electric shock and fire hazards," according to the CPSC.

How Do I Know if My Space Heater Was Recalled?

There's a silver rating label on the underside of the heater. Take a look there and see if your heater has "TYPE VH2" printed in that spot, and then check the date code. If it's either "JUL24" or "AUG24" then your heater has been recalled.
