Más Locations, Más Caffeine

Last year, Taco Bell began testing its beverage concept, Live Más Café. Distinct from the chain's upscale, adult-oriented Cantinas, the cafes have been focusing on non-alcoholic drinks and a younger clientele.

The chain clearly likes how the test went, because we've got 30 locations on the way.

What Is Live Más Cafe?

You'll find both caffeinated and non-caffeinated drinks at Live Más Cafe, as well as your standard sodas and Baja Blasts. You can expect a fresh coat of purple paint, too.

What Drinks Can You Order at Live Más Cafe?

The menu will feature thirty signature drinks, including frozen blended Churro Chillers (caramel, strawberry, and Mexican chocolate flavors), Dirty Mountain Dew Baja Blast Dream Sodas, specialty coffees, and a newly announced lineup of six drinks that Taco Bell is referring to as "Refrescas," according to a press release from the company

You can grab an Agua Refresca, made with freeze-dried fruit and green tea in three flavors (Strawberry Passionfruit, Dragonfruit Berry, and Mango Peach), or you can get extra cranked with a Rockstar Energy Refresca in either Pineapple Lime or Tropical Punch.

If you don't need the caffeine and just want an icy beverage, there are frozen Refrescas available, including Strawberry Lime.

Where Are the New Locations Opening?

Taco Bell hasn't provided a fully fleshed-out list of every location on the way, but the fast-food titan is mostly planning to add Live Más Cafés to existing locations, rather than build out separate sites. That said, there are a few new locations already in the works for this year with more on the way, according to USA Today.

Here are the locations that we know of so far:

  • 1548 East H Street, Chula Vista, CA 91913 (currently open)
  • 468 S Main St., Orange, California (August)
  • San Diego (coming soon)
  • Irvine (coming soon)
  • Los Angeles County (coming soon)
  • Dallas (later this year)
  • Houston (later this year)
