Frappuccino lovers, brace yourselves Starbucks is cutting 13 drinks from its menu, and your usual might as well be on the chopping block.
Here is everything you need to know.
Starbucks is doing some spring cleaning starting March 4 and will declutter the menu by axing 13 of its less popular drinks, the Seattle-based coffee chain told TODAY.com.
“As part of our plan to get back to Starbucks, we’re simplifying our menu to focus on fewer, more popular items, executed with excellence,” Starbucks told TODAY.com.
“This will make way for innovation, help reduce wait times, improve quality and consistency, and align with our core identity as a coffee company.”
The list includes a mix of hot, cold, and blended drinks. Here’s what’s leaving:
Iced Matcha Lemonade (Starbucks suggests trying the Green Tea Lemonade instead.)
Espresso Frappuccino & Caffè Vanilla Frappuccino (They recommend the regular Coffee Frappuccino.)
White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino (You can swap it for a Mocha Frappuccino.)
Java Chip Frappuccino (They suggest the Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino.)
Several Crème Frappuccinos — Chai Crème, Caramel Ribbon Crunch Crème, Double Chocolaty Chip Crème, Chocolate Cookie Crumble Crème, and White Chocolate Crème (Starbucks points to the Vanilla Bean or Strawberry Frappuccino as alternatives.)
White Hot Chocolate (Regular Hot Chocolate with Mocha or White Chocolate Mocha sauce can replace it.)
Royal English Breakfast Latte (They suggest the London Fog Latte.)
Honey Almondmilk Flat White (They recommend the regular Flat White with your choice of nondairy milk.)
Starbucks plans to cut 30% of its U.S. menu by the end of the fiscal year in September. That means more food and drinks will disappear as the company trims down to focus on bestsellers and make space for new items.
Despite the cuts, Starbucks is adding new drinks. Their Cortado — a small but strong espresso drink — was introduced in January 2025. The upcoming spring menu will bring back those divisive lavender drinks and add an Iced Cherry Chai and a Jalapeño Chicken Pocket.
