The OfferUp 8: Wacky Things for Sale on OfferUp This Week (6/5/23)

OfferUp is the Wild West. If you’re a user, you already know the unhinged sales going on inside this app, and if you’ve never perused the site, you couldn’t possibly imagine. I live in North Carolina, where OfferUp is constantly popping off with all kinds of nonsense, and I just need to share ‘em with the world. Here are eight of the oddest items I saw this week.

Yes, this turtle does in fact go, in case you’re wondering.

Only $200? Pfft, double it. This thing is art.

$220? Practically givin’ it away at that price.

That soda in the background? Couldn’t find it for sale on this person’s profile. Don’t even THINK about asking for that soda because it is NOT for sale.

Not only does the title of this product say “straight out of the box,” it also says “never used” in the description. Something about it looks like it’s been used before, but I can’t put my finger on it.

Everything about this reeks of murder.

As soon as I took a screenshot of this image, I was bombarded with ads for these things. So, maybe they’re not as uncommon as I thought.

This was definitely purchased for some seaside, overpriced Airbnb, right?
