Beer and Hot Dog Prices at NFL Games

Each year, sports-business data firm Team Marketing Report releases its NFL Fan Cost index, which gauges what it costs a family of four to attend a stadium game. It looks at ticket prices, parking, merchandise, and — for the focus of this analysis — the cost of beer and hot dogs at every stadium for all 32 NFL teams. And regardless of which team prevails in the Super Bowl on Feb. 11, one thing is for sure — one of them is a much bigger winner when it comes to saving fans money.

Arizona Cardinals | State Farm Stadium

  • Price of a Beer: $7
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $5

When you factor in variables such as tickets, parking, merchandise, and the rest, Arizona took the title of cheapest place to catch an NFL game in 2023, unseating Cincinnati after four straight years. Though the price of hot dog went up 25 cents from 2022, it's still less than the average league price by over a buck. Even better is that the beer prices didn't increase.

Atlanta Falcons | Mercedes-Benz Stadium

  • Price of a Beer: $5
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $2

The Falcons boast the cheapest hot dog in the NFL again this year, at just a couple bucks. A beer will set you back just $5, though the close-to-average ticket prices to get in the stadium make keep this from being the cheapest place to catch a game.

Miami Dolphins | Hard Rock Stadium

  • Price of a Beer: $5
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $4

Both beer and hot dog prices stayed the same this year at Hard Rock Stadium, something that the team's fans can love just as much as its winning record. That helps keep it one of the cheapest teams to see.

Cincinnati Bengals | Paycor Stadium

  • Price of a Beer: $6
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $6

You'll pay the same price — $6 — whether you want a beer or a hot dog at a Bengals' game this season. That's an increase for both over last year, though they're still below the league average prices.

Buffalo Bills | Highmark Stadium

  • Price of a Beer: $7.75
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $6

Both the price of a beer and hot dog went down in 2023 at Bills' games. The beer dropped $3.75, but so did the size: from 20 ounces to 12 ounces. At least you'll be paying $1.25 less for a wiener to make up for it.

Indianapolis Colts | Lucas Oil Stadium

  • Price of a Beer: $9
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $6

Indy raised the prices of both beer and hot dogs this season, by a dollar and 25 cents, respectively. That makes the beer over the league average price of $8.81, though the hot dog is still just below the average.

Detroit Lions | Ford Field

  • Price of a Beer: $5
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $6.50

Neither the price of a beer nor a hot dog went up this year at Ford Field. A frosty cold one is only $5, which ties the Lions with the Atlanta Falcons, Miami Dolphins, and New York Jets for the title of cheapest drafts in the league.

Tennessee Titans | Nissan Stadium

  • Price of a Beer: $11
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $6.50

Tennessee is still one of the 8 cheapest teams to see in football — but no thanks to concession prices. Both went up 50 cents in 2023 and are above the league average.

Jacksonville Jaguars | TIAA Bank Field

  • Price of a Beer: $11.49
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $7.29

Beer at Jags games dropped by — get this! — one measly cent in 2023. Adding insult to injury, hot dogs increased from $6.75 to $7.29. At least tickets are pretty cheap?

New Orleans Saints | Caesars Superdome

  • Price of a Beer: $12
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $6.50

The prices of brews and dogs both went up by 50 cents at the Superdome for the 2023 season. That puts them both above the league average by a not-insignificant margin.

New York Jets | MetLife Stadium

  • Price of a Beer: $5
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $7

That whole Aaron Rodgers thing didn't work out for the Jets, but at least fans at MetLife Stadium this season still only paid $5 for a beer. Hot dogs went up by a buck though.

Carolina Panthers | Bank of America Stadium

  • Price of a Beer: $10.49
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $5.99

Panthers fans are paying 50 cents more for a beer this year, but at least hot dogs stayed the same price. Too bad those frankfurters aren't still $3 like they were just two years ago.

Baltimore Ravens | M&T Bank Stadium

  • Price of a Beer: $7.63
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $3.71

Despite beer price increasing 63 cents, it's still cheaper than the league average in Baltimore. It's only a 12-ounce beer, but it's hard to complain about $3.71 hot dogs, even if that's more expensive than last season.

Los Angeles Rams | SoFi Stadium

  • Price of a Beer: $11
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $8

Though the $11 price of a beer at a Los Angeles Rams game hasn't changed in two years, it's only a 12-ounce cup, making it one of the most expensive per ounce. Similarly, the $8 hot dog is tied for the highest price in the league.

Houston Texans | NRG Stadium

  • Price of a Beer: $6
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $5.50

The cost of a hot dog jumped 25 cents in Houston for the 2023 season, while the cost of a beer remained the same. Those prices are still under league averages, but high ticket prices still push the Texans' rank lower in the Fan Cost index.

Los Angeles Chargers | SoFi Stadium

  • Price of a Beer: $11
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $8

Since they use SoFi Stadium just like the LA Rams, the prices of beer and hot dogs are the same for both teams. You'll have to suffer through one of the most expensive beers no matter which team you root for.

Cleveland Browns | FirstEnergy Stadium

  • Price of a Beer: $7.50
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $6.75

The price of a beer increased by 50 cents and hot dogs went up a quarter at Browns games this season. Despite being the cheapest team in the league to see for five years in the 2010s, they're now in the top half of expensive teams.

Minnesota Vikings | U.S. Bank Stadium

  • Price of a Beer: $10.50
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $6.75

Both the beer and hot dogs cost the same at U.S. Bank Stadium this season as they did in 2022. The beer is a good deal despite the price tag, considering fans get a 20-ounce pour, the stadium equivalent of a large.

New York Giants | MetLife Stadium

  • Price of a Beer: $5
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $7

While beer is still cheap at Giants games, a hot dog will cost you $4 more than last season, more than doubling. That's well above the league average of $6.11.

Washington Commanders | FedExField

  • Price of a Beer: $7
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $6.50

The overall cost to attend a Washington game went up in 2023 by 14.1%. Part of that are the increased prices of a beer and a hot dog: that lager went up 25 cents, while the dog went up 50 cents.

Dallas Cowboys | AT&T Stadium

  • Price of a Beer: $10.50

Pittsburgh Steelers | Acrisure Stadium

  • Price of a Beer: $9.55
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $6.79

Seattle Seahawks | Lumen Field

  • Price of a Beer: $10.99
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $7.99

Seattle is the 10th most expensive place to catch a football game. That's spurred on by the $1.50 beer price increase since last season, and the 50-cent increase for a hot dog. Both are well above the league averages.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Raymond James Stadium

  • Price of a Beer: $7
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $8

Rejoice, Buccs fans, because the price of beer went down $5 since last season! On the flipside, hot dogs went up a buck to make up for it, and are somehow more expensive than a beer. Can't win them all, right?

Denver Broncos | Empower Field at Mile High

  • Price of a Beer: $8.50
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $6

The Broncos upped the price of a cold one by 50 cents to above the league average, but the price of a hot dog stayed the same at a bit under the average price.

Kansas City Chiefs | Arrowhead Stadium

  • Price of a Beer: $9
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $5

Neither the price of a brewski nor a hot dog increased at Chiefs games this season. If Taylor Swift and her fans keep showing up to games next season though, it seems like that might change.

Chicago Bears | Soldier Field

  • Price of a Beer: $11
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $8

With nearly a century of tradition dating to 1924, Soldier Field is the NFL's oldest stadium. The price of hot dog there increased over last year by 50 cents. The price of a beer is the same for the fourth season in a row.

Richard Cavalleri/shutterstock

New England Patriots | Gillette Stadium

  • Price of a Beer: $10.50
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $4.50

In terms of overall costs of taking the family to a game, the Patriots are the fifth-most expensive team in the NFL. But the high cost can't be blamed on the 20-ounce beers that go for $10.50 and hot dogs that are cheaper than the $5.87 league average. Both prices were the same as last season.

Green Bay Packers | Lambeau Field

  • Price of a Beer: $10
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $6

The beers at Lambeau cost above average, especially with this season's 50-cent increase. Hot dogs went down in price by 25 cents, but that may just be because most people buy bratwursts anyway.

Philadelphia Eagles | Lincoln Financial Field

  • Price of a Beer: $11.50
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $6.50

A trip to the Linc will cost you. A beer is 50 cents more this season, and a hot dog runs 25 cents more, contributing to the Eagles being the third-priciest football stadium outing in the NFL.

San Francisco 49ers | Levi's Stadium

  • Price of a Beer: $12
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $6

San Francisco's season ticket holders get a member inclusive menu that gives them 15 common menu items — including hot dogs — at no charge. Fans who aren't season ticket holders pay $6 for hot dogs, and everyone has to pay $12 for beer, both an increase in 50 cents over last year.

Las Vegas Raiders | Allegiant Stadium

  • Price of a Beer: $10.99
  • Price of a Hot Dog: $2.99

Only the Falcons offer hot dogs cheaper than the Raiders, and at $2.99, they're a cent less than last season. Beer increased by 99 cents, however. For the fourth year in a row, Allegiant stadium is the most expensive spot to catch an NFL game, with the team's Fan Cost index increasing 8.5% from last year.
