Fast-food restaurants are always innovating (and competing), and that means there's always some new menu item to try. McDonald's, Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, Taco Bell, Subway, and other big chains regularly introduce limited-time offerings to entice customers to keep coming back. Here's what's new this month in the fast-food world.

Burger King has added a limited time Whopper to its menu for spring. The Steakhouse Bacon Whopper is topped with Swiss cheese, bacon, crispy onions, steak sauce, and creamy peppercorn aioli. Plus, sweet Churro Fries covered in cinnamon sugar, and Fiery Chicken Fries are also available once again.
Pizza Hut has a new crust on the menu. The Chicago Tavern-Style pizza is modeled after the thin, cracker-like crust that's most popular in parts of the Midwest, including Chicago. The toppings go to the edge of the crust and it's cut into squares. Try it with new pesto margherita or spicy chicken sausage toppings, or build your own.
Leave it to Taco Bell to have an ever-rotating list of new, delicious items available. Right now, the big new thing is the Steak and Queso Crunchwrap Slider. They're mini versions of the ever-popular Crunchwrap filled with steak, cheese, and pico de gallo, and served with a brand new green chile queso sauce for dipping.
Other newbies include the Caliente Cantina Chicken menu, with tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and bowls that all feature a new slow-roasted chicken and Caliente Cantina sauce. For dessert, there's also a colorful Birthday Cake Churro.
The McRib is gone again, but a new sandwich is taking its place for a while. The BBQ Bacon Quarter Pounder is topped with cheese, bacon, onions, pickles, and a new bold barbecue sauce. Get it on its own, or as part of the latest celebrity meal, the Angel Reese Special, along with fries and a drink.
Plus, it's that time of year again: the Shamrock Shake is back! There's also a Shamrock Oreo McFlurry if you'd rather eat your mint frozen treat with a spoon.
Arby's is always one of the first chains to jump on seafood season, and this year is no different. The crispy fish sandwich is topped with lettuce and tartar sauce, and can also come with cheddar cheese sauce. There's also a King's Hawaiian Fish Deluxe with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, and tartar sauce on a King's Hawaiian roll. Plus, you can get a St. Patrick's Day-ready Andes mint chocolate shake.

Get ready for the latest Frosty from Wendy's, because it's a good one! The chain has teamed up with the Girl Scouts to create the Thin Mints Frosty, based on the fan favorite GS cookie. It's got a vanilla Frosty base that's swirled with a chocolate and mint cookie butter.
On the sandwich side of things, the Crispy Panko Fish is back for seafood season. It's a pollock filet coated in crispy panko breadcrumbs along with lettuce and cheese on a bun. But what sets this sandwich apart is that it also comes with pickles and a creamy dill tartar sauce for extra briny flavor.
The Shaq-a-Roni pizza is back at Papa Johns. It's named after Shaquille O'Neal, who owns some of the chain's franchises. It's an extra large pizza with New York-style crust topped with extra cheese and extra pepperoni.

Panera has a new sandwich on the menu, at least for a little while. The Cranberry Walnut Chicken Salad sandwich features a chicken salad made with dried cranberries and walnuts in a creamy dressing. It's served on sourdough with mixed greens and tomatoes.
Plus, there's three new Asiago Bagel Stack sandwiches made on asiago bagels: chicken Roma, spicy steak, and zesty Tuscan.
Seafood is on the menu at Del Taco this month. The beer-battered Crispy Fish Taco features wild-caught Alaskan pollock with secret sauce and pico de gallo. Also available are the Crispy Jumbo Shrimp tacos and the Crispy Jumbo Shrimp Burrito for a whole selection of seafood items.
Popeyes isn't just for chicken during Lent. The crispy fried flounder filet sandwich is back for the season. It's on a brioche bun with pickles and either tartar sauce or spicy spread. Plus, popcorn shrimp and larger fried butterfly shrimp are also available. On the sweet side, try the new chocolate chip biscuits drizzled with icing.
Returning to Chick-fil-A this month is the Grilled Spicy Deluxe sandwich. It's made with a spicy marinated grilled chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, and colby jack cheese. Also back is the Key Lime Frosted Lemonade, made by blending the chain's lemonade with key lime flavor and soft serve.
Shrimp has come back to the Zaxby's menu just in time for Lent. This year, you can get Southern fried shrimp that are coated in buttermilk and garlic, onion, and pepper seasoning. You can get them plain, coated in buffalo garlic sauce for a spicy twist, or on top of an Asian Zensation salad.
Whataburger is looking to heat things up with its latest limited time menu item. The Monterey Melt has two beef patties, Monterey jack and American cheeses, grilled peppers, onions, and jalapeno ranch. You can also get a honey butter chicken biscuit right now, and the brand new Mexican hot chocolate shake spiked with cinnamon.
Things are extra "crazy" at Little Caesars right now with one new menu item. Crazy Puffs are like little mini pizzas. They're made with the chain's pizza crust plus mozzarella, pizza sauce, buttery garlic drizzle, and Italian herb and parmesan seasoning. They come four to an order, and you can get them with pepperoni, plain cheese, or with bacon.

Subway has debuted two new sandwiches. The Baja Chipotle Chicken Sub features rotisserie style chicken, cheddar cheese sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, black olives, green peppers, jalapenos, and Baja Chipotle sauce. You can also get the same toppings on but with turkey and pepperjack cheese on the Baja Chipotle Turkey Sub. Plus, there's a new Footlong Oreo cookie on the menu.
KFC is partnering with Mike's Hot Honey for some sweet and spicy chicken. There's a sandwich with an Extra Crispy fried chicken breast topped with pickles and Mike's Hot Honey, or you can get your bone-in fried chicken or chicken tenders drizzled with the sweet stuff.
Qdoba, too, offers a unique seafood option. The citrus lime shrimp protein option is back this year, made with a tangy lime citrus sauce. You can order it in any bowl, burrito, quesadilla, or salad, or order a citrus lime shrimp burrito or bowl topped with chile crema, cotija cheese, and pico de gallo, or a surf and turf burrito or bowl that adds steak to the mix.

Steak 'n Shake is bringing back a blast from the past. By the end of February, the entire burger chain is going to be frying their french fries in beef tallow. It'll give the chain's shoestring fries an unmistakable flavor that many people still crave after McDonald's stopped the practice in the 1990s.
There's a fish taco option at Taco John's for seafood season. The Alaska flounder fish taco is made with crunchy breaded fish, lettuce, pico de gallo, and Fiesta sauce in a flour tortilla. If seafood isn't your thing, there's also a new Nacho Taco Bravo. It's made by wrapping a soft flour tortilla, nacho cheese, and beans around a crispy shell filled with beef, lettuce, cheese, and taco sauce.

There's a new sweet and savory creation at Bojangles. The Chicken and Bo-Berry Waffle is a sandwich made with a Cajun breaded chicken filet drizzled with a berry honey glaze and sandwiched between two warm waffles. Plus, the chain's fish sandwich, the Bojangler, is back. It's made with pollock and topped with American cheese and Duke's tartar sauce.
It's hard to believe that Domino's hasn't had stuffed crust pizza until now, but that's all changed with its new parmesan stuffed crust. It's made with buttery flavored dough that's wrapped around mozzarella cheese, then topped with garlic seasoning and parmesan. Get it with whatever toppings you want.
Forget burgers because Shrimp Nibblers are back at White Castle. The Lenten favorite are essentially popcorn shrimp, though a bit larger. There's also bite-size Fish Nibblers made with Alaskan pollock, and panko breaded Fish Sliders if sandwiches are what you're after.
Seafood is on the menu all the time at Long John Silver's, but there's a new shrimp in town. Coconut Butterfly Shrimp are coated in crispy, slightly sweet coconut and deep fried. You can also get a new Cheesecake Factory Oreo cookies and cream cheesecake for dessert.
Walleye is available at Culver's again this month, and fans are thrilled. Wisconsin is known for its fish fry, which is why this Dairy State chain knows how to do it right. The battered and fried walleye filet is available on a sandwich or as a dinner with two sides and a dinner roll.
