Fast-food restaurants are always innovating (and competing), and that means there's always some new menu item to try. McDonald's, Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, Taco Bell, Subway, and other big chains regularly introduce limited-time offerings to entice customers to keep coming back. Here's what's new for July 2024 in the fast-food world.
McDonald's new McFlurry sounds amazing. The Kit Kat Banana Split creation has vanilla soft serve, pieces of Kit Kat candy bars, bananas, and strawberry clusters. On the savory side of the menu, there's a new Smoky BLT Quarter Pounder with Cheese that's topped with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and smoky BLT sauce. There's also a new dipping sauce called Special Grade Garlic Sauce inspired by a black garlic sauce at Japanese McDonald's.
Plus, the new $5 Meal Deal is here, which comes with a McDouble or a McChicken sandwich, 4-piece McNuggets, small fries, and small drink.

Move over NYC, because Pizza Hut is taking inspiration from the Windy City for its latest pizza offering. The Chicago Tavern-Style Pizza has a crispy, cracker-thin crust with toppings all the way to the edge, and it's cut into squares. You can build it with your own toppings, or try it in Pesto Margherita, Ultimate Tavern, Spicy Chicken Sausage, or Double Pepperoni styles.
Taco Bell announced all kinds of new items for 2024, and you can get your taste of some of them right now. The Big Cheez-It Crunchwrap Supreme swaps the tostada shell for a — you guessed it — giant Cheez-It cracker. There's also a Big Cheez-It Tostada with the same giant cracker topped with beef, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream. Plus, Nacho Fries and the Cantina Chicken lineup are still available.
Arby's just released its popular burger again. You can get it Deluxe style with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, and burger sauce, or Big Cheesy Bacon style, which adds bacon and Swiss cheese. Plus honey mustard, ranch, and barbecue chicken wraps are still available, the Orange Cream shake is back for the summer, and fan-favorite Potato Cakes are back.
A new summer menu is out at Dunkin', and it incudes a collaboration with Mike's Hot Honey. Here's everything that's new.
Wendy's has upgraded its chicken nuggets recently. You can now get Saucy Nuggs, which are the chain's nuggets tossed in your choice of sauces with a side of ranch of blue cheese. There are seven sauces to choose from: honey BBQ, garlic parm, buffalo, spicy honey BBQ, spicy garlic parm, spicy, buffalo, and spicy ghost pepper. Plus, the chain is pouring Triple Berry Frostys right now.
Cheesy Burger Pizza is back at Papa Johns this month. It's topped with burger sauce, beef, tomato, and dill pickles, and it comes with garlic sauce and pepperoncini on the side, of course. You can also get a Cheesy Burger Papadia, or Bacon Cheesy Burger Papa Bites.
There's a new chicken slider at White Castle with a popular flavor combination. The Chicken Bacon Ranch Sliders include crispy chicken, smoked bacon, and Hidden Valley Ranch dressing.
Hardee's has two new sandwiches right now. The BLT Frisco Angus Burger comes with a quarter-pound beef patty, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise on toasted sourdough bread. You can also get it with a fried chicken filet instead of beef. Plus, sweet blueberry biscuits are still around.

There's a new breakfast sandwich in town at Panera this month. The Bacon Double Take has a double portion of bacon, eggs, and American and provolone cheeses on toasted black pepper focaccia. Plus, there are four new cold beverages: pomegranate hibiscus tea, citrus punch, blueberry lavender lemonade, and a tropical green smoothie.
The ever-popular birria menu is back at Del Taco, this time with a brand new item. You can get the juicy, shredded beef birria in tacos, quesadillas, ramen, and the new Birria Grilled Combo Burrito. It's filled with shredded beef, beans, cheddar, green sauce, onions, and cilantro and then grilled for a crispy exterior. All are served with consomé for dipping.
Popeyes just released a new version of its iconic fried chicken sandwich. The Golden BBQ Chicken sandwich includes the chain's classic buttermilk-batted chicken breast topped with pickles and new barbecue honey mustard sauce. Plus, lemon pepper wings and strawberry biscuits are still around.
Chick-fil-A has a new sandwich for the summer. The Maple Pepper Bacon Sandwich has a lemon herb marinated grilled chicken breast topped with pepperjack, lettuce, brown sugar and pepper spiced bacon, and sweet and spicy pickles on a maple-flavored brioche bun. Plus, the ever-popular peach shake is back.
Zaxby's is throwing their crispy chicken fingers into tacos this month. There are two versions: Chipotle Ranch with Pico with lettuce, cheese, pico de gallo, and chipotle ranch; and Avocado Ranch BLT with bacon, tomatoes, lettuce, and avocado ranch. You can also get fried cheesecake bites with strawberry sauce for dessert.
The Buffalo Ranch Chicken Strip Sandwich is back at Whataburger. It's got crispy chicken strips topped with monterrey jack cheese, buffalo sauce, and ranch dressing. There's also a jalapeño cheddar breakfast biscuit, caramel latte shake, and WhataWings.
Things are extra "crazy" at Little Caesars right now with one new menu item. Crazy Puffs are like little mini pizzas. They're made with the chain's pizza crust plus mozzarella, pizza sauce, buttery garlic drizzle, and Italian herb and parmesan seasoning. They come four to an order, and you can get them with pepperoni or plain cheese.
Jack in the Box has a new Tex-Mex favorite right now. The Mini Chimi Bang Bangs are mini chimichangas filled with seasoned shredded chicken, corn, black beans, and Southwest seasonings, and come with a side of taco sauce. You can also get them loaded with two types of cheese, lettuce, and taco sauce on top.
There's a new sandwich in town at Jimmy John's. The Firecracker Wrap is made with turkey, salami, ghost pepper cheese, Jimmy peppers, garlic aioli, and Firecracker potato chips inside of a red jalapeño tortilla. The chips are also available in bags on the side.
Subway has something completely new on the menu: Footlong Dippers. They're foot-long flatbreads rolled up around melted double cheese, pepperoni and cheese, and chicken and cheese, plus your choice of sauce. There's also three new signature sandwiches: honey mustard BBQ chicken, spicy nacho chicken, and cheesy garlic steak.
KFC's chicken nuggets just got saucy. The new Saucy Nuggets are tossed in your choice of five sauces: honey sriracha, Korean BBQ, Sticky Chicky, Nashville hot, and Georgia gold. If you can't decide which to choose, our taste test will help. Watch out for Apple Pie Poppers and Tropical Passionfruit Lemonade too.

Burritos are getting an upgrade at Taco John's this month. The chain's new Grande Grillers are like burritos but grilled for a crispy tortilla outside. They're stuffed with red rice, Potato Olés, and either fried chicken with chipotle sauce and nacho cheese, or beef, shredded cheese, jalapeno ranch, and super hot sauce.
Starbucks is all ready for summer with a new lineup of food and beverages.
A customer favorite has returned at Culver's for the summer. The Pretzel Haus Pub Burger includes two smashed burger patties, bacon, cheddar, pickled onions, cheddar cheese sauce, and tangy Bistro sauce all on a pretzel bun.
