Summer is filled with silly food “holidays,” but we’re not complaining because they usually come with great deals from fast food and chain restaurants. This time, it’s National Chicken Wing Day on July 29, and we can’t wait to score some cheap buffalo-sauced chicken.
Here’s where you can celebrate yourself with deals on wings.
From now through August 3, you can get 6 free bone-in wings when you buy a 6-piece bone-in wings in store at Popeyes. If you’re a member of the chain’s rewards program, you can order in the mobile app and get the same deal with spicy wings.
And if you order through Uber Eats or DoorDash, you can get BOGO free 6-piece bone-in or boneless wings in your delivery order.
Applebee’s fans can get BOGO free orders of bone-in or boneless wings on July 29. It’s only good on takeout or delivery orders, not dine in, but you can mix and match the type of wings you get and sauces.
Order online or through the app and use code “WINGDAY25” at checkout to get it.
Whataburger is also jumping on the BOGO free bandwagon. On National Chicken Wing Day, you can get a free 9-piece WhataWings (that’s what they call boneless wings) when you order one. Just order online or through the app to claim the deal.
The king of wing sportsbar chains, BWWs is offering up 6 free bone-in or boneless wings on July 29. You’ll have to spend $10 to get it, but it’s good for dine-in and takeout. If you order online, use promo code “FREEWINGS” to get the deal.

Infamous sports bar Hooters is celebrating National Chicken Wing Day by offering 10 free wings when you buy 10 wings. You can get any style of wings and any sauces, but the deal is only good for dining in.
Korean style fried chicken chain Bonchon will offer customers five wings for $5 on July 29. You can get it by ordering online or in-store.
Raising Cane’s doesn’t have chicken wings on its menu, only chicken fingers. That’s why the chain is celebrating National Chicken Finger Day on July 27 instead. On that day, customers will get an extra free chicken finger with every box combo ordered.
Rewards club members of convenience store chains 7-Eleven and Speedway can get BOGO free 8-piece boneless wings of 5-piece bone-in wings on July 29. You can also buy two Red Bull energy drinks that day and get five bone-in wings for free.
