RV ROYALTY

If an RV doesn't sound like luxury accommodations, you haven't seen RVs lately. Will Smith's $2.5 million RV is reportedly two stories tall and has its own screening room. Country music stars Kelly Pickler and Kix Brooks have turned theirs into second mansions on wheels. Justin Bieber used to take Selena Gomez out in one belonging to Chris Brown. But even if you aren't driving a tricked-out bus to your latest concert or film set, there are ways to make your RV feel as luxurious as a rig tens of thousands of dollars more expensive.

MOTORIZED AWNING

Price: $695 on Amazon
You don't need an awning most of the time, but if you're going to have one, you may as well go all out. Instead of cranking it out by hand, let a motor do the work as you take a seat in the shade on your makeshift patio.

CAREFREE VACATION'R SCREEN ROOM

Price: $606 and up on Amazon
Know what an awning can't do? Give you an outdoor space free of flies, mosquitoes, wasps, and other pests. This spare room is essentially a tent, which is probably exactly what you were looking to avoid by owning an RV. But it provides some extra square footage, and it folds up and stores away quickly. It also keeps guests from getting a bit too comfortable.

COLEMAN SALUSPA INFLATABLE HOT TUB

Price: $404 on Amazon
The nature of an RV makes it difficult to fit a tub on board. But if you have enough water, this model allows you to inflate a hot tub when you want it and deflate it when you don't. A digitally controlled pump heats the water and powers the jets, and a chemical floater keeps it clean.

DOMETIC RV WINE CHILLER

Price: $240 on Amazon
Dometic specializes in all sorts of RV luxuries, and this illuminated wine chiller is a must for the camping connoisseur. While the bottles chill to a preset temperature, a magnetic lock keeps everything safe in transit, so your wine won't end up on the RV floor unless you spill it.

GSI OUTDOORS NESTING WINE GLASSES

Price: $16 for 2 on Amazon
Glassware — especially stemware — isn't great on the open road. These BPA-free copolyester "glasses" snap together and stack when not in use, so they don't take up much room, and they won't shatter by the campfire. Unlike disposable plastic cups, they're durable enough that you don't have to throw a bunch away after each trip.

JENSEN AWM968 BLUETOOTH STEREO

Price: $299 on Amazon
You don't have to have to be stuck with the outdated audio system that came with your RV. Pull out that cassette deck and put in this unit, which can not only stream audio from Bluetooth-enabled devices (smartphones, tablets, etc.) but also play digital files through a USB connection, as well as CDs and DVDs through a disc player.

KING RVM1000 BLUETOOTH OUTDOOR SPEAKER

Price: $85 on Amazon
The outdoor light over the door to your RV can do way more than just provide illumination. Upgrading to LEDs is a great move on its own, but attaching a Bluetooth speaker and hardwiring it to your RV's power supply is even better. You never have to recharge the speaker, and you can simply stream audio to it from your smartphone.

PYLE FLUSH-MOUNT WALL/CEILING 2-WAY BLUETOOTH SPEAKER

Price: $70 on Amazon

ROCK CLIMBING HOLDS

Price: $45 on Amazon
If your kids are sleeping in bunks, you could just let them keep using the ladder — or you could install these rock-climbing holds and give them a bit of an adventure. Maybe just start with the bunk beds before you go screwing them onto the exterior and letting the kids climb on the roof.

THOMAS PAYNE CAMPER RECLINER

Price: $400 on Amazon
Just because you're in an RV doesn't mean you have to make do with whatever foam-and-cloth bench seating you've been given. Thomas Payne specializes in RV furniture that would look at home even in a non-rolling living room. A plush recliner that tilts all the way back might seem like an extravagance in tight quarters, but it can be a godsend in bigger RVs with bump-outs that are just waiting for cozier furnishings.

DOMETIC ELECTRIC-POWERED PORTABLE COOLER

Price: $1,503 on Amazon
Yes, your average RV is going to have a refrigerator and freezer, but what good does that do when you're sitting under the awning and need a beer? You can use a smartphone app to manage the temperature in this attractive box — the inside can drop to minus 7 degrees for ice cream or ice cubes — use the 100-watt cooler to charge electronic devices. LED lights even keep the interior visible.

DOMETIC 310 TOILET

Price: $153 on Amazon
RV toilets, even those with sewage hookups, can be fairly no-frills. They're low, their seats crash down, and they aren't always easy to flush. This one is standard height and about as close as you'll get to your toilet at home. The pedal flush is a godsend for those already a little creeped out about being in an RV bathroom.

Fitted sheets are nightmare to put on and remove in an RV. These 400-thread-count sheets don't pop off at the corners and aren't a challenge to fold. They simply zip on and let you go about putting on the rest of your bedding.

SUNBRITE 49" OUTDOOR TV

Price: $4,295 on Amazon
You can hook up your RV with any indoor TV you'd like, but what about outside? This HDTV has an rust-proof, powder-coated aluminum exterior that wards off rain, snow, dust, insects, humidity, and salt air. The anti-glare screen is three times brighter than the typical indoor set. The sun won't burn it out, either: Its enhanced sun tolerance prevents isotropic blackout (black splotches that appear on the screen due to overheating). It even comes with a detachable speaker bar and weatherproof remote control.

LIPPERT FIFTH-WHEEL AUTOMATIC LEVELING SYSTEM

TAILGATE FOLDING WOODEN PICNIC TABLE

Price: $125.50 on Amazon

COOLWOO BACKUP CAMERA KIT

Price: $140 on Amazon
If you're driving a particularly luxurious RV, a rear-view mirror won't show you much besides what's going on in the cabin. Side-view mirrors are helpful only on the road itself. When you're backing an RV into a spot, especially at night, a night-vision camera, eight infrared LEDs, a 175-degree wide-angle visual scope, and a 9-inch screen are a whole lot more helpful than someone in the back shouting directions. The camera also knows automatically when your RV is reversing and when it's dark enough to require night vision.

BELLACORP TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM

Price: $409 on Amazon
Don't let a big, luxurious RV barrel down the road on shaky tires. There are 10 sensors here in case you use a heavy-duty pickup to pull a fifth-wheel trailer, but the system covers all bases on big RVs, as well. The monitor screen even has a backlight for night driving (helpful even if you just do spot checks before and after each stop).
