Rihanna — 2015

One of the most buzzed-about Met Gala looks of the 2010s was Rihanna’s gown in 2015. She wore this yellow ensemble to celebrate the ‘China: Through the Looking Glass’ theme, and she couldn’t have been more on point. Her look was compared to Belle from ‘Beauty and the Beast,’ and she truly did look like an absolute princess. Her yellow gown had a flowing train, as well as fur lining on the sleeves and around the hem of the dress. Rihanna completed the look with an embellished headpiece, and she stopped everyone in their tracks when she posed for photos on the carpet!

Kim Kardashian — 2013

Kim Kardashian made her Met Gala debut while seven months pregnant in 2013 … and she didn’t receive the warmest welcome from critics in this floral look. Kim’s baby bump was on full display in the gown, and she later poked fun at the hate she received for it by re-wearing the dress during Halloween 2015 — when she was pregnant with baby number two!
