Celebrate Madonna’s 63rd birthday by taking a look back at the Queen of Pop over the years, from her showstopping performances to her stylish red carpet appearances.

There really is no one like Madonna. Whether it’s her fashion sense or her music, the talented woman and pop queen has a style all her own and is completely unmatched by up-and-coming artists or her contemporaries. Madonna first broke onto the scene in the early '80s with hit songs like "Holiday," "Borderline," and more. 

It wasn’t before long that her 1984 album ‘Like A Virgin’ became one of her most iconic works to date. Even more so, in the latter half of the ‘80s, Madonna came out with the song ‘Like A Prayer’ that shocked everyone with its music video, leading even some religious figures to protest! 

But through it all, Madonna has remained quite the talent on a global level. She not only sings, but also acts. Madonna has starred in a number of films, and earned a Golden Globe win for her leading actress work in ‘Evita.’ She’s also taken her talents behind the camera with the film ‘W.E.,’ which she directed and won a Golden Globe for in 2012.
