With a release date of Oct. 22, 2021, 'Dune' is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Its all-star cast includes Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Stephen McKinley Henderson, David Dastmalchian, Chang Chen, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Charlotte Rampling, Jason Momoa, and Javier Bardem. It’s quite impressive!


The movie is a remake of the 1984 film of the same name and is directed by Denis Villeneuve. It is based on the 1965 novel named ‘Dune’ by Frank Herbert and will focus on the first half of the book, which follows Paul Atreides, as he and his family, the noble House Atreides, are brought into a war for the dangerous desert planet Arrakis, between the native Fremen people and the enemy invaders, the House Harkonnen.

Timothée Chalamet leads the ‘Dune’ cast as Paul Atreides. He’s the son of the Duke on the planet Caladen, and his concubine, Lady Jessica. The role was previously played by Kyle MacLachlan in David Lynch’s 1984 film.
