Why Are the Frozen Meals Being Recalled?

The frozen meals are being recalled “due to the potential presence of wood-like material,” according to a recall announcement from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Nestle USA and the FDA are investigating the source of the wood-like material after a number of consumers contacted the company to report an issue. One incident of choking has been reported.
