For National Mustard Day, French's is partnering with Dough, a Brooklyn, New York-based maker of artisanal doughnuts, to create — you guessed it — mustard-flavored doughnuts.
On Saturday only, customers can try one for free, while supplies last, at six Dough locations in New York City:
- 14 W. 19th St., Manhattan
- 646 Vanderbilt Ave., Brooklyn
- 21-70 31st St., Queens
- 10 Rockefeller Center, Manhattan
- 230 Park Ave., Manhattan
- 90 Kent Ave., Brooklyn
If you're unable to nab a free doughnut in person, fret not: The mustard doughnuts are also available online for nationwide shipping. French's has cautioned, however, that only a limited number are available.
The unique doughnut is a combination of French's classic yellow mustard and Dough's signature brioche recipe. Whether you think it's gross or genius, it "reimagines a classic glazed doughnut with a vibrant sweet and savory yellow mustard coating that is topped with a yellow mustard cake crumble," according to a news release.

In addition, French's says the Dough locations will be outfitted with bright yellow furnishings, featuring pop art, entertainment, and apparel on Saturday in honor of National Mustard Day.
You can place an online order for two free doughnuts Saturday starting at 9 a.m. Eastern time, or get more information and recipes for making mustard doughnuts at home.
