25 Holiday Gifts to Buy on Cyber Monday

The National Retail Federation estimates that 127 million consumers shopped last year on Cyber Monday, when retailers offer Black Friday-like deals online. Although the discounts typically are not as big, shoppers can still save money on Christmas presents while avoiding the crowds and cold. Cyber Monday (Nov. 30) has become Cyber Week at some retailers, with deals going live as early as Saturday and extending to Dec. 5 in some cases. Dell has an Inspiron 15 3000 Series laptop with a fifth-generation Intel Core i7 processor on sale for $600 ("market value" $950). It features a 15.6-inch HD display, 8GB memory, 1TB hard drive, and Windows 10. Earn an extra 10 percent cash back by creating a Mr. Rebates account and shopping through the link on the cash-back site.

Shoppers with a gaming laptop on their list may want to spring for the Alienware 17 with a 17.3-inch ultra-HD display, 8GB memory, a Nvidia GeForce GTX 980M graphics card with 4GB GDDR5, and a sixth-generation Intel Core i7 processor for $2,000 ("market value" $2,500). It's available from Dell in limited quantities starting at 8 a.m. EST on Cyber Monday. Shipping and returns are free sitewide.

There are several desktop deals worth considering, but one of the best is Dell's Inspiron 23 7000 Series all-in-one with touchscreen display for $500 ("market value" $1,090). This limited-quantity "door buster" starts at 8 a.m. EST on Cyber Monday. Best Buy is taking $100 off select Apple iMacs.

At Staples, iPads are on sale for 25 percent off. Shoppers can get the iPad Air 2 with 16GB of storage for $374 or 64GB for $449. The iPad Mini 4 with 64GB of storage is also $374.

Target is offering a $50 gift card to customers who buy the Pebble Time Round at the regular price of $250 and a $30 gift card with the Samsung Gear S2, priced at $300. Shoppers can claim a 15 percent discount sitewide on Cyber Monday with the code CYBER15, and shipping is free.

Best Buy has already dropped the price on a Samsung 40-inch 4K LED ultra-HD smart TV to $600 (regularly $750). With nearly 350 reviews, this TV has a 4.6-star rating. Shipping is free sitewide through Jan. 2.

Grab a 48-inch Samsung 4K ultra-HD TV for $598 (regularly $900) from Walmart. The store's Cyber Monday deals begin Sunday at 8 p.m. EST.

Staples is selling the 7-inch Amazon Fire tablet along with a cover and 32GB microSD card for $55 (regularly $80).

Amazon has already discounted three Kindle devices through 11:59 p.m. PST on Monday. The Kindle eReader is $50 (regularly $80), the Kindle for Kids Bundle with two-year accident protection and a kid-friendly cover is $70 (regularly $140), and the new Kindle Paperwhite is $100 (regularly $120).

Dell is offering an Xbox One (500GB) with "Gears of War: Ultimate Edition," "Halo 5: Guardians," and a BDA Halo dual charging stand for $300 ("market value" $435). This deal is a door buster, available in limited quantities starting at 8 a.m. EST on Monday.

The PlayStation 4 Star Wars bundle at Walmart comes with the 500GB console, the new "Star Wars Battlefront" game, and a voucher for four more games, as well as two controllers and a Star Wars headset for $399. Best Buy is offering a $350 PlayStation 4 bundle (also 500GB) with a game voucher for "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection" and a PlayStation TV system.

Best Buy isn't putting the $400 GoPro Hero4 Silver on sale, per se, but buyers get an $80 Best Buy gift card and 64GB memory card free with purchase. The retailer is also offering free shipping through Jan. 2. For those who don't need the memory card and prefer on-the-spot savings to a gift card, eBay has the stand-alone action camera for $299 starting on Sunday at 9 p.m. PST.

Amazon Fire TV is already on sale for $75 (regularly $100) while supplies last. This and other Amazon Cyber Monday deals will be offered at various times between Saturday, Nov. 28, and Saturday, Dec. 5.

It's all about Star Wars this year, and Lego has been a go-to toy for generations. The two fan favorites combine in the Lego Star Wars Coruscant Police Gunship, available from Toys R Us for $35 (regularly $55). The Cyber Week sale is also in stores but starts early online: Saturday, Nov. 28.

Toys R Us is advertising Barbie Rainbow Hair dolls for $12 (regularly $20) and Play All Day Elmo for $40 (regularly $60). Toys R Us deals are available in store and online Nov. 29 through Dec. 5 but start one day early online. Orders totaling at least $19 ship for free.

Target isn't revealing exactly which models will be on sale but has announced that Sennheiser in-ear headphones will be half off. Cyber Monday shoppers can get an extra 15 percent discount with code CYBER15, and shipping is free through Dec. 25.

Amazon is discounting Philips Fidelio noise-canceling headphones to $99 (regularly $199) sometime between now and Dec. 5. These headphones have earned high ratings from users and expert reviewers, and the noise-canceling function can make air travel easier to bear.

Watch for Amazon to offer $25 off $100-plus purchases of select Bosch tools, 65 percent off a DeWalt 20-volt tool combo kit, and $10 off purchases of select Black Decker and Stanley tools totaling $50 or more. Walmart is selling the Porter Cable 18-volt NiCd three-tool combo kit for $79 (regularly $115).

At Walmart, the Air Hogs Helix video drone is on sale for $75 (regularly $109). The drone comes with a built-in camera for taking photos or recording video and a 4GB SD card to store it all.

There are several Keurig deals to choose from on Cyber Monday. The Keurig K10 Mini Plus ($80) is available from Target or Best Buy with a $15 store gift card. But Macy's has the larger K45 model for $80 with a $20 gift card. Use code CYBER for an extra 20 percent off and free shipping.

EBay has fashionable and functional Hunter rain boots for $90 (regularly $150) starting at 9 p.m. PT on Sunday. Quantities are limited, as this deal is one of eBay's Cyber Monday door busters.

At Macy's, Calvin Klein Performance plus-size fleece jackets (sizes 0X to 3X) are on sale for $40 (regularly $69) starting Sunday, plus get an extra 20 percent off and free shipping with the code CYBER. As part of a weeklong Cyber Week event through Dec. 5, Kohl's has men's and women's puffy jackets for $30 (regularly $100) and men's and women's Columbia fleece jackets for $30 (regularly $60).

In a weeklong deal starting Sunday, shoppers can get a $50 Target gift card with a purchase of $250 or more in the baby department. On Cyber Monday only, Target is offering an extra 15 percent off with code CYBER15, along with free shipping and free returns through Dec. 25.

Macy's is advertising 60 percent plus an extra 10 percent off select kids' outerwear starting Sunday. Shoppers also get 20 percent off and free shipping on orders of $25 or more with code CYBER.

Several sites are offering a flat percentage off everything: 25 percent at Modcloth, 30 percent at Desigual (starting Saturday), and 35 percent at American Apparel. Target is advertising 30 percent off apparel, accessories, and shoes for women, men, and children, plus an extra 15 percent off with code CYBER15. Shipping and returns are free until Christmas.
