Let's face it: Cooking Thanksgiving dinner is a lot of work. You can't just pop a turkey in the oven and be done with it. The turkey alone involves brine, injections, stuffing, seasoning, and hours of oven time. Throw in a few side dishes and just like that your day is swallowed whole by the kitchen.

If you're someone who loves cooking and hosting and you have a bunch of family coming to gather around your table, it makes sense to hunker down and cook the day away. On the other hand, if your holiday is more intimate, you might not feel like putting in a Mayflower-sized boatload of effort. That's where good ole Costco comes to the rescue.

You might have heard about Costco's Thanksgiving dinner kits that come complete with fixings for a feast and a $200 price tag. But that's likely too much food and too much money for folks who want to keep it quaint and simple.

Instead, head to Costco's prepared meals section and you'll find a turkey dinner for a much more affordable $40. The dinner includes a small turkey, stuffing, green beans, cranberry sauce, and mashed potatoes. The essentials!

Even with a tight-knit table, you've got to leave room for dessert, and Costco comes in clutch once again. Pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, apple pie, and pumpkin spice loaf are all up for grabs in the bakery. Good luck choosing just one.

And as TikTok user @costcoandsamsclubmama mentions in her video, don't forget the whipped cream!
