Cinco de Mayo falls on a Friday this year, in case you needed any more excuse to celebrate Mexican culture with tacos and tequila. Though it's only a loosely observed holiday in Mexico that commemorates an 1862 military victory over France, lots of Americans — and American restaurant chains — go all out. Here are the best deals you can grab at fast food and chain restaurants across the U.S. this year on May 5, from burritos to margaritas.

Free burritos! Del Taco is giving out free burritos between May 5th and 7th when you make a $10 purchase. The cool part is that you can get any burrito for free, and you'll also get free delivery when you place your order through the app all weekend.

If you're hoping for a free Cinco de Mayo burrito from Moe's, you're out of luck. What they are giving away though are t-shirts, for whatever reason. The first 50 customers who walk in the door get one. Rewards club members will also get double points on orders placed in the app.

Buckle up, because Chipotle's Cinco de Mayo deal is extremely convoluted. You'll need to create a Cinco event on Partiful, invite your friends to it, and use the #ChipotlePartyPromo hashtag. Then, invite Chipotle to your party by direct messaging the Partiful link to them on Instagram. The chain will RSVP to the first 20 events each day through May 5, and drop 25 buy one get one free burrito codes for the party goers. (We don't understand all that, either.)

Sure it's a wing place, but Buffalo Wild Wings is putting Mexican-ish foods on special on May 5. Here's the list of happy hour and late night goodies:

• $4 hatch chile queso from 9 p.m. to close
• $4 chips and guacamole from 9 p.m. to close

You'll want to do your drinking at Miller's Ale House on Cinco de Mayo this year. They'll be having $3 house margaritas on offer all day on May 5.

Jack in the Box isn't so much Mexican as it is designed-for-gluttons. That's why between May 4th and 7th, members of their rewards program can score deals like $3 tiny fried tacos, two standards tacos for $1, and $3.50 breakfast burritos. 

On The Border will be "Cinco Central" on May 5th, though that's a pretty ambitious nickname considering there's only one special planned: $6 house margaritas. At least if you're a member of the rewards program, you'll also get $2 off queso every day, including Cinco de Mayo.
