BREAKFAST IS SERVED

It seems that, the fancier the hotel, the more likely there will be charges for Wi-Fi, parking, and other basics. This odd phenomenon doesn't hold true at bed and breakfasts, however: Internet and parking are almost always free and, of course, breakfast is included. Some also offer an afternoon snack or free wine and cheese happy hour. Many make newspapers, board games, fireplaces, and beverages available for guests in a common area.Guests might expect the extra amenities to result in high room rates, but that is not always the case. The Professional Association of Innkeepers International estimates a median daily rate of $150. Cheapism set out to do even better, finding properties in each state that cost $125 or less by the night and are highly rated on popular review and booking sites. (Rates may vary depending on the time of year or room booked.)
