Burger King Is Offering Free Fries All Year

Burger King is offering a sweet — make that salty — new perk that should get the attention of any budget-minded fast-food lover: free fries for the rest of the year.

Members of the chain's app-based Royal Perks loyalty program can grab an order of fries every single week for the rest of the year, free with any purchase. We're not talking about a micro-sized order, either — customers can get whatever size they're in the mood for: small, medium, or large.

Burger King is also unleashing more perks for app users. Members can earn 10 crowns (points) for every dollar they spend; upsize one drink, side of fries, or hash brown on daily orders; earn double crowns during their entire birthday month; and more. Crowns can be used to earn other freebies.

Since it first rolled out its rewards app in September 2021, Burger King has used it to unveil deals that fans can't find anywhere else — not even with paper coupons, which the chain recently said it is moving away from. It's in good company: McDonald's, for instance, has used its app to give away free Big Macs and let users reserve its cult-favorite Szechuan Sauce, while Chipotle has lured more app users with promotions including "guac mode" — surprise additions of free guacamole throughout the year.

If you're not already a Royal Perks member, signing up is free. Use Burger King's app or website to get in on the free-fry offer by June 20.
