Pahang, Malaysia

By the Numbers: 7,351 rooms, 36 floors

This three-star hotel, recognized as the world’s largest by Guinness World Records is also notable for its three rainbow towers. Las Vegas

The Venetian held the title for world’s biggest hotel until 2015. Located on the Vegas Strip, the hotel has three all-suite towers — the Venetian, the Palazzo, and the Venezia. The Venetian boasts a 650-square-foot Luxury King Suite twice the size of any room in Las Vegas, while the rooms in the Palazzo are the largest standard rooms on offer on the Vegas Strip.

Macao

The Londoner Macao is a resort made up of five hotel brands that include The Londoner Hotel, an all-suite property with designs by David Beckham; The Londoner Court; Conrad Macao; the St. Regis Macao; and the Sheraton Grand Macao. The Conrad and Sheraton are the world’s largest hotels in their brands, with 654 rooms and 4,000 rooms, respectively. This Vegas mainstay has been the destination for the famous, starting with Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. It includes Stay Well Collection rooms outfitted with wellness amenities; suites with private balconies at The Signature at MGM Grand; and two-story lofts as part of Skylofts at MGM Grand. In addition to more than 170,000 square feet of gaming, the hotel is home to the nation’s largest bronze statue, a 100,000-pound and 45-foot-tall lion at the front entrance. A hotel complex of towers rising more than 328 feet in height and holding four three- and four-star hotels identified as Gamma-Delta, Alfa, Beta, and Vega. Gamma-Delta alone has 2,000 rooms, 16 restaurants, 19 conference halls, and its own bowling alley. Each hotel has an extensive list of conference halls; Alfa includes a nightclub and bath complex.

Macao

Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino is home to the Delano, which has 1,117 suites, and Four Seasons Las Vegas, which manages an additional 424 rooms in Mandalay’s main tower with its own entrance, lobby, two restaurants, and private swimming pool. Part of the The Londoner Macao hotel complex in the heart of the famed Cotai Strip near UNESCO world heritage sites, this Sheraton is the world’s largest. There is a dedicated kid’s club, four restaurants, a gym, a luxury spa, and extensive business center and meeting spaces. There are four hotels inside the resort complex, where seven casinos provide close to 3,500 slots, 249 table games with 17 game varieties, and one of the world’s largest bingo halls with seating for up to 3,600. Tokyo

This hotel invites you to enjoy mesmerizing views over Tokyo from its Dining Bar Table 9 Tokyo venue, roughly 459 feet high. The large bar is 6,562 square feet, while the hotel has room for everything from an aquarium to its own movie theater and bowling alley. There is an outdoor pool open in the summer and a heated indoor pool, a whirlpool bath, a live concert hall and additional circular hall for live performances and events, 14 indoor golf practice boxes, and nine indoor tennis courts with artificial grass. Resorts World opened in 2021 as one of the first integrated resorts on the Strip in the past decade, already drawing more than 50 million guests a year. Its resorts include the world’s biggest Conrad, with close to 1,500 rooms; Hilton; and brands such as Crockfords, which has only five locations worldwide and offers a 7,000-square-foot palace as a room option. It has a 117,000-square-foot casino with a 17,000-square-foot entertainment zone featuring live shows and race and sports books, in addition to a complex with eight pools and a 1,800- square-foot infinity pool. The LED display at the West Tower is one of the world’s biggest.

Las Vegas

Dating back to 1946, The Flamingo has been a destination for many famed artists, including Donny and Marie Osmond. The hotel’s name draws from its 15-acre wildlife habitat, which houses 80 Chilean flamingos and exotic fish and bird species. The Caribbean-themed casino features close to 2,000 slot machines and 89 table games, while its lagoon-style outdoor pools include waterfalls and water slides.

Paradise Island, Bahamas

Opened as the International Hotel in 1969 and later known as the Las Vegas Hilton, Westgate was the world’s largest hotel from 1981 to 1991 and claims the world’s largest race and sports book at more than 20,000 square feet. Of all its rooms, its largest can fit up to 250 people and comes with a media room, a full bar, three bedrooms, a living room, and a secluded master suite with a private outdoor pool and garden.

Paris Las Vegas offers a half-scale replica of the Eiffel Tower that rises 46 stories and a light show every half-hour from sunset to midnight, similar to Paris’ tower.
