JOE WHEELER STATE PARK RESTAURANT, ALABAMA

Every Friday night from 5 to 8, the restaurant at Joe Wheeler State Park in Rogersville hosts a prime rib buffet. The $19 price tag includes coffee and water; soft drinks add $1.95 to the bill.

IVORY JACK'S, ALASKA

Located in the business district of Fairbanks, Ivory Jack's hosts prime rib night every Friday. The $28 price buys a 14-ounce cut of slow-roasted beef served with au jus. Add deep-fried shrimp or Alaskan king crab legs for an extra charge.

PY STEAKHOUSE, ARIZONA

Inside Tucson's Casino Del Sol is PY Steakhouse, where prime rib can be enjoyed every Wednesday night. Spend $25 for a 10-ounce cut with horseradish cream and rosemary au jus. The meal also comes with a loaded baked potato, roasted garlic, and a seasonal vegetable. There's a $4 wine special, too.

Penguin Ed's in Fayetteville has a prime rib special every Saturday at its Mission Boulevard branch, and it's different than most -- the beef is smoked. The half-pound queen is $19 and the 1-pound king is $28. Both come with Texas toast, a baked potato, and a side salad.

PARKWEST CASINO, CALIFORNIA

What's better than prime rib night? Five prime rib nights a week. The Parkwest Casino in Sonoma runs a $10 prime rib special Sunday through Thursday starting at 4 p.m. It includes an 8-ounce prime rib, choice of soup or salad, and a starch or vegetable.

QUINCY'S STEAK & SPIRITS, COLORADO

In Leadville there are two chances a week for high-end beef at Quincy's. Friday and Saturday prime rib dinners start at $10, with the chance to upgrade to a larger portion for a few bucks more. Dinners include a baked potato, bread, and a salad. Can't make it? Sunday through Thursday is filet mignon night.

THE SPOT CAFE, CONNECTICUT

Prime rib Monday was such a hit that Harold Seltzer's added a Thursday night prime rib special. The St. Petersburg restaurant knocks $3 off the price for every size, including the 8-ounce, 1-pound and massive 2-pound cuts, which are priced at $14, $18, and $27, respectively. All dinners come with soup, salad, rolls, and a side.
