Those who book the Urban Soak Suite at Kimpton Hotel Vintage can spy the streets of Portland from the comfort of the outdoor hot tub, which accommodates two people.
Malé, Maldives
Few other hot tubs blend in with the ocean as seamlessly as the hydropool located in the spa of Velassaru Resort, which also offers yoga classes, steam rooms, and 10 spa treatment rooms that are set on stilts in a lagoon.
Tibet, China
The saltwater Golden Energy Bath at the St. Regis Lhasa Spa features water jets, gold tiles, and a serene ambiance. It's kept at about 82 degrees Fahrenheit, so it's more of a heated pool than a hot tub. But with views of the centuries-old Potala Palace (former home of the Dalai Lama), the Golden Energy Bath offers an experience like no other on our list.
London
Not all of the world's best hot tubs are located in resorts — or on land, for that matter. Case in point: Skuna Boats, a company that provides excursions into London's canal waterways in floating hot tubs, which fit up to seven people. 2021 bookings are available beginning March 1.

The hot tub at Elsa's Kopje is one of the few tubs in the world where you can get a first-class spa experience while catching a glimpse of hippos, lions, and elephants, all of which live in the adjacent Meru National Park.

Sorrento, Italy

Sanya, China
This Ritz-Carlton property is located on Hainan, China's only tropical island. Its 30,000-square-foot spa is one of the largest in the world, and here guests will find stone hot tubs with dozens of pressurized jets.
Adelboden, Switzerland
Not all infinity pools have to be oceanside to be enjoyed. Case in point: The outdoor hot pool at Switzerland's Cambrian Hotel, which provides swimmers with panoramic views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains.

They might not be the biggest in the world, but the private hot tubs outside the suites of Phinda Rock Lodge offer one-of-a-kind views of Phinda's Private Game Reserve, which is adjacent to the resort and comprises about 70,000 acres.

The largest penthouse suite in Italy is truly decadent. Measuring in at 11,000 square feet, it features two private outdoor terraces, 24-hour butler service, four opulent bedrooms, and a hot tub under a dome, which is, of course, located in the suite's private spa.
