Amazon's New Haul

Temu and Shein might seem to have the market cornered for selling really cheap stuff, but wait! Amazon won't take this challenge to their sales lying down and just launched Amazon Haul, a new venture that may be just as delightful (and cheap) for shoppers.

1. What Is Amazon Haul?

Amazon Haul is an "experience" in the Amazon app that offers really cheap items for sale. Really, really cheap. If you thought all the good deals were on Temu, think again.

2. How Cheap Is Amazon Haul?

Amazon promises that nothing in the Haul category will be more than $20 — and most items will be closer to $10. As an added bonus, Amazon offers an A-to-Z Guarantee, which guarantees all items are authentic and safe  — and you have a hassle-free remediation process for products sold and fulfilled by the brand's selling partners.

3. What Is Haul Selling?

Pretty much everything you can find on Temu or Shein. The news release announcing Haul promises "affordable fashion, home, lifestyle, electronics, and other products with ultra-low prices."

The release also mentions some deals: a three-piece trimmer razor set for $2.99; holiday table runners for $2.99; an iPhone 16 case for $1.79; a women’s elastic stretch cinch belt for $1.99; a pair of touchscreen winter gloves for $3.21; an elegant necklace, bracelet, and earring set for $2.99; and a two-pack of kitchen tongs for grilling for $4.99. Not bad.

4. How Do I Access Haul?

Right now, Haul is in beta which means it's not fully integrated into the Amazon app (though you can still buy stuff). You can't get Haul on your computer, but it's available on your phone. Just go to the Amazon app and look in the top navigation bar, or you can visit amazon.com/haul on the browser of your mobile device.

5. Are There Any Other Ways to Save with Haul?

Actually, yes. You can get even more savings by (of course) adding to an order. Take 5% off orders $50 and over, and 10% off orders $75 or more. You also get free delivery on purchases over $25, so you may want to keep shopping until you hit that magic number.

6. What If I Get Something Damaged or Worse?

If you've ordered through Temu, it's pretty likely you've waited for ages to get a product only to discover it's not what you expected (or even what was in the picture). Besides the fact you have that A-to-Z Guarantee through Amazon, you can get free returns on all Amazon Haul purchases over $3.00 within 15 days of delivery. If the item is damaged, defective, or not as described, you're covered.

7. Can I Get Next-Day Delivery?

It doesn't look that way. The news release points out you can get Same-Day or One-Day delivery on regular Amazon items, but, ahem, "We also hear from customers that sometimes they would love to shop ultra-low-priced products even if some of them take one to two weeks to arrive." So we're guessing no.
