Aldi is dropping some new merch on its loyal customers, and besides being surprisingly stylish and inexpensive, many of the items look like they were inspired by clothing and accessories made by popular brand names.
The Aldi Gear collection arrives in stores March 22 and includes items like a bucket hat, slide sandals, a belt bag (aka a fanny pack), and the crowning glory: a tracksuit ensemble with joggers, a windbreaker, and a pullover.
Navy blue, powder blue, and heather gray are the predominant colors, with the company logo's rainbow stripes accenting cuffs, buttons, and plackets. If you want to snag any of these limited edition items, get to your Aldi bright and early on March 22 or order online via Instacart to have a chance against the Aisle of Shame devotees.

Aldi superfans on Reddit are thrilled about the merch, and many are quick to point out that a lot of the items look similar to some famous brand names. The tumbler, for instance, looks just like the Starbucks tumblers that have turned into collectibles. They sell for $20 to $30 from Starbucks and rare ones go for hundreds online, but Aldi's version with its cheerful rainbow is only $7.
