8 Weird and Wacky OfferUp Discoveries From This Week (5/17/23)

OfferUp is the Wild West. If you’re a user, you already know the unhinged sales going on inside this app, and if you’ve never perused the site, you couldn’t possibly imagine. I live in North Carolina, where OfferUp is constantly popping off with all kinds of nonsense, and I just need to share ‘em with the world. Here are eight of the best items I saw this week.

Sneakerheads are already a group of people I don’t understand, but doubly so when they’re collecting neon orange shoes that come with a dish rag to help prove authenticity.

I guess I see why collectors buy these things, but just like this? Without a case? You want the previous owner’s grubby little hands all over it? I don’t think so.

What puzzles me most about the entire thing is the idea of a 15-piece set. That feels larger than most Christmas tree ornament sets. Will there even be any room left on the tree by the time you’re done hanging these?

This thing is not even three feet high. $300 feels fully insane.

It just says phone deals. I hope it’s for that poster. I’d love to hang a Spanish iPhone 11 advertisement in my house.
