Costco Opening New Locations in August. Here's the Full List

People can’t seem to get enough of Costco, with its cavernous warehouse stores, cheap gas stations, generous return policies, and busy food courts. So the company is giving people what they want: more locations. 

New openings are on the way next month, and one might be near you. Here’s the scoop on Costco’s latest store news.

Costco’s popularity seems to know no bounds, which is why it keeps expanding its footprint. The chain’s Kirkland Signature brand practically has a cult following, as do lots of other products the store regularly carries, from $5 rotisserie chickens to giant pumpkin pies. 

Each year, the company aims to open 25-30 new locations worldwide, according to USA Today.  

There are four new Costco locations opening in the U.S. next month, according to the Costco new locations website. They are: 

• Richland, Washington 
• Allen, Texas 
• The Villages, Florida 
• Spring Valley, Nevada 

There are also three new international Costco locations coming in August. They are: 

• Rimouski, Quebec, Canada 
• North Guadalajara, Mexico 
• East Newmarket, Ontario, Canada 

All of these new locations will open sometime in August 2025, though there are no exact dates listed. If you live near one of them, watch local news in your area because the grand openings are usually well publicized. 

Costco has already opened a number of new store locations in 2025, bringing $1.50 hot dog combos to people around the world.

All these new openings come with another expansion: Costco recently announced that it is extending its hours. All stores are now open until 7 p.m. on Saturdays, an hour later than before. Plus, stores will open 30-60 minutes earlier — but you can only take advantage of those early shopping hours if you’re a Costco executive member.
